What is ban worthy...? And what’s not?

Some kid in my rainbow six ranked game started talking [Mod removed-profanity]. Later he proceeded to kill all of our teammates until he finally got kicked. I went to check out his profile and ask why, only to find that his profile picture
is a picture of a disabled kid, a meme, mocking those with disabilities... I realized this account was just a troll account. I then sent him this message, written EXACTLY how it looks: “[Mod removed-profanity] you troll”. Within a minute,
not even, I received a message from Xbox Live saying that I had gotten a report and actions have been made... Really? From one report?

I made a post a week or two ago explaining how none of my reports are getting viewed... I have reported so many people; and one person who replied to my post said something along the lines of: “calling someone trash, garbage, or SLOW is within the guidelines
of Xbox to create competitive play”.... Really? Calling someone slow, as in “retarded” is okay? “Hop on the short bus” is okay?? Come on now...

Last thing, I checked the enforcement and it said It is from July 12th - July 13th 2019. What does this mean? Why would it only be a one day ban??

Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand have questions on the enforcement against you. The only people that can answer any questions in regards to this is the enforcement team. They do not use the forums however. The 24 hour ban you received is the
shortest ban given out. They can range from a day to permanent. All is up to the severity of the breach in the

code of conduct, and in most cases how many someone has had for a certain offense. You can check out the
Enforcement site for more details. With a 24 hour ban you are unable to do a case review, as it will take them longer to review it then the ban is in length.

After you report someone, you may receive a Xbox Live message later saying action was taken on a prior report. Other than that message, you will not know when action is taken against another account.

When coming across a toxic player, it's always best to mute/block, report if attacks are personal, and move on. Never engage a toxic player.

To add to this, you not here back from enforcement even if they take action on a report you filed.

What you should have done is multi faceted in this case.

Filed 3 reports:

1. In siege itself for the team killing

2. to Xbox for offensive speech

3. Xbox for the questionable gamertag

Then blocked and ignored.

You should have never sent a message, in sending what you sent you violated the code of conduct. This person was likely just waiting for you to do so and was ready to report you, he likely does this a lot.
