You ask a good question Ellarianora!

I can't narrow it down to just one, but I like Kain from the legacy of Kain series, Garrett from the original Thief series (not the reboot) and Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell : Chaos Theory.

Kain was a nasty self serving protagonist, but was very well written as a character. Garrett,was similar to Kain in this regard and both had superb voice acting. Sam Fisher was a superb character and especially so in Chaos Theory. That is a game that needs
a remake! The banter between Sam and his support team genuinely made me laugh and the voicing by Michael Ironside was genius!

A close runner up would be Ocelot from the Metal Gear series. Super interesting character that is double and triple crossing his way through the series.

I would love to have Sam Fisher stealth and Alex Mercer powers and as a side note a cool looking Javelin from the Anthem game (Ranger)
