What if MS bought Nintendo?

Also I wonder if Nintendo would be more successful going the Sega route? Get out of the console business and just focus on their game franchises? I know in order to do that they need to make some really compelling games, but that's not a bad thing in my
view. Not to mention having people on other consoles buying their games would be a good thing I think.

 

Metroid Prime is one of the best games ever made, it was amazing on GameCube and years later it was just as amazing on Wii with the exception of the Wii controls (it was the controllers fault not the games design), since then there was Metroid Other M
on Wii, it was made by a different developer and was mediocre at best. Old school Nintendo fans are screaming for a new Metroid game, heck I would by a WiiU tomorrow if they released it.

[/quote] well if you call yourslef a gamer the wii u should interest you because of the quality games on and coming on it. i have a wii u and it is a very good system these days wii u and 360 are my most used systems not got a xbox one yet but getting one.

no they would not. remember when sega had a system they released quality game after quality game but now sega are not half as good as when they were in hardware the same would happen to nintendo with a software only route. Also dispite all the doom and
gloom reports in the media that focus on anything negative they can find on nintendo the 3ds is doing brilliantly. yes the wii u could be doing better but 5.98 million is a lot of people.

So you expect gamers to throw money at crap games in order to support the genre they wanna see on the console? You got it backwards. The devs needs to come out with a decent game if they expect it to sell. You can't just release a mediocre game and then
blame the customers for not buying it and supposedly not wanting that type on game.

hard for would of played a role in that. nintendo fans are hardcore gamers pretty much. not these people who think they are gamers by playing cod or gta 5 on xbox or playstation

you should actually try the gamepad. i have a wii u the gamepad is a good thing. and if you don't like it which i think most gamers wiil that give it a chance but if you don't then just use a pro controller or wii remote. the game pad is a controller with
screen basically it is not the same as gaming on a mobile. sure you can do remote play with it but it handles like a controller. mobiled devices tend to be pure touch controllers where as on the game pad it is like the 3ds where most the time you use the buttons
but you can select things using touch id you want to.

not all kinect games are bad. plus on xbox one ms have been bring a lot of quality non kinect games so that is not true.

 

Kinect is way better then Wii U.

I don´t know why you would mix them together.

The only thing I can imagine that all the Nintendo games like Mario get turned into downloads for the Xbox One, Windows 8 tablets and phones.

I honestly would stick with only tablets and phones cause they are not more then Xbox arcade games to me.

 

The wii u should not be over looked there is plenty on the wii u for the hardcore gamer while still doing the casual stuff. give the gamepad a go and if in the unlikely event you don't like the game pad you can use wii remotes and nunchucks or a pro controller.
plus with games like bayonetta 2, mario kart 8 zombi u and more while still getting some of the third party stuff like watchdogs and assassins creed 4 the wii u should not be looked down on. if you want gaming with a controller then wii u is better than
kinect because the gamepad is basically a controller with a screen that can do remote play if some one is using the tv. if you want motion controllers than yes kinect is better than wii remote for motion controls.
