What I do when my upnp is not successful?

I'm sorry but this may mean that you need to manage the router settings as well as restart the router later on. If possible, please ask the admin of your apartment so they can manage it for you.

Please ask them to follow the steps below or you can do so as well:

"1. Sign in to your router’s setup webpage, and make sure the router’s UPnP setting is turned on. You can usually find first-time help with this in the router manual or on the manufacturer’s support site.

2. Turn the UPnP setting off and save your changes.

3. Restart your console, your modem, and your router.

4. Turn the UPnP setting back on and save your changes. If there’s a Zero Config setting, make sure that’s turned on as well.

5. Restart your modem and router."

I'm sorry you have this problem. Follow the instructions below for a solution.

Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) is what the Xbox console uses to configure the router for multiplayer gaming and chat. If you see "UPnP incorrect" in the Network Settings of the console, first check if your router needs an update.

If the router has the latest update from the manufacturer:
Log in to the router's configuration web page and make sure UPnP is enabled on the router. You'll usually find help with this in the router's manual or on the manufacturer's support site.
Disable UPnP and save the changes.

Restart your console, modem, and router.
Turn UPnP back on and save your changes. If there is a Zero Config option, make sure it is enabled as well.
Restart the modem and router.
Once you've reset your router:

Restart the console.
Press the Xbox  button to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > General > Network settings.
Check your settings again to make sure the UPnP message is gone.

If UPnP still does not work, or is not supported by your gateway/router, you can also try using the router's DMZ, port forwarding, or port triggering features.

I would reccomend checking your routers security settings and associated user manual. Often times NAT/UPnP settings in your router can restrict connectivity for online gaming.

My nat type is moderate and I can not do party’s I’m not sure what to do and my upnp says not successful. Please help
