What headset will u be getting for xbox one??

wandering people's thoughts on best headset for the one will be or is.. im a full time gamer so I like for the best..

Are you talking about Turtle Beach headsets for Xbox 360 controllers?

Well, the Xbox 360 controller has a 2.5mm headset port, whereas the Xbox One controller has a
3.5mm headset port, so the existing headset you've used for your Xbox 360 won't be compatible with Xbox One (right off the bat).

Your headset would still work on Xbox One with a 2.5mm-to-3.5mm adapter.

Need help with xbox

As Squid CA mentioned, Ear pods are not compatible with the Xbox One console, you'll need an adapter to make them work. Here's a page that shows you what the headphones need to be compatible with Xbox One for both voice chat and the ability to hear the audio.

got a load of extra money from work so splashed out and got the X07's

 

I am curious are the 7's dolby surround sound. I like to be able to hear people running throwing grenades that type of stuff in mp. thx in advance

 

Tomorrow after work I will be going to Gamestop and picking up the Titanfall Atlas. As long as I can listen without anyone hearing my TV..and how many times I die in SP games its all good to me.

 

I was going to get X07 but i am now inclined too wait. Something is fishy with this headset release.. IMO

 

I just hope Microsoft remakes the wireless headset from the Xbox 360. Not the *** bluetooth redesign that came out with, the original. It felt so comfortable on my ear and worked like a charm.

 

Please come back with impressions once you get your headset. I haven't decided which one to go for yet.

 

Looking at the Razer BlackSharks, but not sure if they would work. Obviously should, since they have a 3.5mm jack.

 

I will be going to pick up my Titanfall Atlas Earforces as soon as I wake up tomorrow and plan to spend the majority of the day breaking them in properly.

 

I am wanting to get the XO Four Turtlebeach, but I want to know if this just works with a headphone jack on my Vizio TV. So I can watch regular cable with my headset on.

Yes, they will be able to do that, jdebooserie. Although, the cable for the headset will only be a couple of feet long like a typical headset.

 

does anyone know if u will be able to hear like footsteps and grenades going off in mp games with the xo 7's... that's mostly what I need to know.. love to hear the footsteps and things coming. thx in advance

 

You can hear footsteps plenty well with the A40s, although you'll need the headset adapter for them to work properly.

It's so unfair when you can hear people pick up a weapon in Halo from halfway across the map.
