What happens when I redeem an Xbox Live code while having Game Pass Ultimate

There seems to be absolutely no info at all about this, I've been searching for 2 hours now, but only get results for when upgrading to game pass, not the opposite, so I decided to just ask about it.

What happens if I redeem a 3 month Xbox Live code while I have a Game Pass Ultimate subscription? From what I understand, there is a conversion rate, but no where on the internet mentions what this rate is or if it is even true. Will my Game pass ultimate
subscription be extended, or when that expires will I have 3 months of standard Xbox Live? Wish Microsoft was more clear about how redeeming standard xbox live or game pass codes affects an Ultimate subscription.

Hi you can redeem Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass (not Ultimate) codes, without any issue, but there is a conversion ratio that you can find in this page https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-game-pass?xr=shellnav#faq

Navigate the FAQ to "After I join Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, can I still redeem Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass codes?" section, you can find the table with conversion values.

From what i can remember reading, while you have game pass ultimate and you redeem 3 months xbox live, this would give you 1 months game pass ultimate.

Thank you for reaching out to us on the forums, if you redeem the Xbox Live Gold code while your Game Pass Ultimate subscription is still active, then you would not be receiving the full time that is shown on the prepaid card.

"With Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, can I still redeem codes for Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass?

Yes, These codes will automatically convert to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at a ratio based on the ERP (Estimated Retail Price) of those codes. Conversion rates are subject to change"

If you want to keep the Ultimate subscription then you can redeem your code but just keep in mind that you won't receive the full time shown on the card as it will convert the time according to the price of the Ultimate. If you want to stop using the Ultimate
subscription then I would advise that you wait for the subscription to expire before you redeem the Xbox Live Gold subscription.
