Something must be wrong........... the forums seem to be working! No more copy/paste, refreshing..... is this a Christmas miracle?

WHAT HAPPENED TO THESE fORUMS

Booyang76, I hear you completely and 100% with every point you made.

In my real life, I don't know too many people who still play games (I'm 36, am married with a small child, and work 50+ hours a week) and this forum used to be a place where I got the chance to write/read about games - we all did! The ones we liked (or didn't
like), the ones we were looking forward to, etc. Those conversations are now missing. Sadly they have been replaced by posts whining on about being banned or female gamers looking for friends... and pretty much all sorts of other minutia completely unrelated
to gaming or the 360 (or even topics which one would think most gamers were interested in). It's even hard to find the Canadian Deals thread now too...

Like you and a few others, I miss the old one... here's to hoping that one day, this forum comes back to its glory!

She definitely still exists EGS - she is just less active lately. Thats why its up to us to step up if we want there to be community. Thats why I started DoG after all; to fill the community void that was growing around here. The community hasn't been killed
- its just been transplanted.

I'm pretty sure not a thing has changed here.

I just wish they would get the thing working properly with Android so I wouldn't have to refresh 5 times and turn my phone different ways just to see thread titles and post content. Perhaps they will by the time the Xbox Two is released.

I get annoyed too when this site doesn't work properly, too slow loading pages (not your ISP issue) by a company well known worldwide for Xbox and PC Windows OS.

Here's something, why not go out an enjoy some vitamin E and sunshine? It's summer holidays for Australia and NZ, and I'm really enjoying it and doing outdoor stuff. I'm enjoying stuff which I don't get to really do through the yeah unless it's the holidays,
like go to Lunar Park the zoo sky tower and harbour ferries and it's cheap too and fun and get to meet people face to face.

I think it's a new years resolution thingy: no copy/paste/refresh 10 times. I guess I'm in a, as Goth would put it, kwazy and happy mood. It's not always bad. New Years is so close. I'd like to shout out to everyone who reads here to have a great happy fun
day whether you're on here, on Xbox 1 or Xbox 360, or hanging outside or whatever you're doing \^u^/

The last email I got was 30 teams. Even at 14 teams there is still the ahl, that's something I don't wish to wrap my head around.

Having bonzo relagated after that "expansion" really made me upset. The dude played since day one and now is being told to have fun in little league.

It's not quite at that level of simlicity anymore but it's tamed down to about 12-14 teams per season, and the whole process is still a ton of fun. And c'mon proto, I'm sure you'd latch on and wouldn't miss a beat...too humble!

I've hardly played club all year. I feel the game has taken a step back this year(although maybe I don't know how to set my guy up) i'd cringe just thinking about it mhl form.

The forum is terrible, buggy, slow to load etc... I used to post here and argue quite frequently, until the absurd amount of BS and ignorance about the sport was just too much to handle.

Sometimes I check back from time to time, just to see if any of the old regulars have gotten any decent debates going, but that's just not the case. It's dead.

I do kinda miss going back and forth with Yammer and a few others. Also curious if Volourn was still around, trying to infect the forum and the net w/ a level of ignorance I've yet to see anywhere since.

Yeah these new forums are terrible, I used to come on here all the time but since the switch I rarely come on here now. Another reason I rarely come on here is because I use Firefox and for some reason Firefox doesn't work on xboxlive.com, so I usually
get on these once a month with IE and that is to take the survey.

What happened to these forums???
