    Is your Language and Locale set to what you speak? Settings > System > Console Settings > Language and Locale.

    CHANGING LANGUAGE WHIDOUT GETTING FORCED TO CHANGE MY LOCALE

    iwant to change my language to english on my xbox one no matter on what locale store i am

    as example if i lived in germany and my stores locale is set to germany everthing changes to german language but i want my games ,kinect ,system language,ect in english i dont speak german so see the problem here

    i want to be on my own countrys store but wy restict us only to the languages that are spoken in my country

    i can understand that the stores language is in the language of the stores locale but LET US CHANGE OUR CONSLES LANGUAGE TO WHATEVER WE WANT WHITOUT CHANGING THE COUNTRY

    so people who move to an other country example USA citizen moves to France he changes locale to france the whole xbox language changes games incuded

    so now he cant understand a thing annymore of his xbox that whats happening to me WANT MY XBOX IN ENGLISH AND WHIDOUT TOUCHING THE LOCALE

    hope you guyes at microsoft change it FAST

    Except games have a set language they support

    Usually 5 and then from the set languages depending on your region the language is supported and localized to the local laws and distribution rights

    That's what is available

    If the game supports german and your region supports German on Xbox live (that's the key)

    Then you will have to find the German copy on the your regional marketplace

    Games don't usually have ingame menus to change the language and it is up to the publisher to decide what is available your region may support two languages but again it is up to the publisher

    That's what you guys aren't understanding

    wrong language in GonD Tomb Raider

    Actually it is easy to resolve

    Goto locale at the bottom you can see that the offical languages supported in your region is dutch anf french as per your national language

    Its not a matter of your perference

    Its a matter of your natiomal languages

    Your supported languages are set by your offical languages supportrd by your government not you

    Publishers can and will decide what can and what cannot be in a region

    If they feel english copy is not worth localizing in your region then it is their choice

    its under the locale and language settings for your local console

    however the xbox live account language settings is set by your region and affected by your locale if the language is actually supported by the region

    if you mean the language of the marketplace or your xbox live marketplace?

    locale only affects your local settings not the xbox live language

    thats only selectable with the region of your account and only the supported languages
