What happened to all of the gold coins collected completing all of the daily challenges

I completed all of the daily challenge puzzles for January 2017 and collected almost 18,000 coins. I was under the impression that those coins would be applied to my total gold coin count so that I could purchase additional puzzles. However, when I checked
today the daily challenge gold coin total had reverted back to 0 and nothing was applied to my total gold coin count. What happened? If the gold coin total from the daily challenge puzzles is not going to be applied to my total gold coin count, what's the
incentive for doing the daily challenge puzzles? Please do me the courtesy of a reply. Thank you.

No Coins for 4th March Daily Challenge Hard Puzzle

After completing both of the Easy and Medium puzzles from the 4th March's Daily Challenge and obtaining the Gold Coins, I then attempted the Hard (Spring Match) puzzle, however after successfully completed the Challenge, I did not get any Coins or Bonus
Coins and now there is a tick on the Challenge to indicate it has been solved.

How do I use the coins earned in the daily challenges? I have had a perfect score for 5 months and I have a lot of coins collected.

I have this happening on Solitaire and taptiles as well. very annoying especially as I had completed all daily challenges and have each day green. I was so close. I had achieved Gold coin as well and now it 's showing that I haven't completed any daily challenges
or coins.

Please fix.

Same thing here, been playing for the whole month of December and today my daily coins reset, the challenges are all marked as completed and can't be replayed for the coins. Nice that 10 days of work/progress towards a daily badge seems completely wasted
now. Other forum posted imply it's known, but they haven't/can't fix the issue. Most users are reporting it happened in November as well as December. bah! I foresee an uninstall on the horizon. At least I didn't waste any money on it.

If you click 'Daily Challenges' in the app, you'll see the coin progress bar for the month at the bottom of the screen.

Coins are just another term they are using to basically describe experience. The coins add to a value that you've collected in a month to put a ranking on your progress either Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum, which achievements are tied to. They are
not used for any other purpose than as a gauge for progress during the months daily challenges.
