What going on with Xbox series x controllers?

I couldn't imagine how you're feeling right now, but it turns out that since the product has already ended its warranty the best possible thing to do is to purchase a new one. Considering that the product is out of warranty, you are most likely will be declined for refund or replacement. Although, you are still free to contact live support and see if there's something they can do with the situation. That's out take away for this case.

Scroll down and look to the bottom left side if you can see that the page corresponds to the country/region in which you are currently located.





Otherwise, select the country/region you are showing and select the correct one from the lists.

Be sure to use to check the available contact times of the support.

Select the "Contact Us" button

Select the drop-down menu options that will match your concern.

The next window will provide support articles based on your request, and we recommend reviewing the relevant articles before selecting the "View contact options" button.

In the final window, you will be presented with several options. We suggest selecting the "Online Chat" or "Request a call" options to talk to someone. Be sure to provide as much detail as possible.

If you are unable to connect to support, use the Virtual Agent and type this exact phrase, "Talk to an agent."

Troubleshooting that you can try in case you were unable to contact the team. Update your device and browser, use your browser's InPrivate window , or try a different device or browser, or connect to a different network.

Kindly proceed with the factory reset keep my games and apps (The instructions were provided above.)

If the issue still persists with the controller, since we have almost exhausted all the troubleshooting steps, the controller might have a physical internal defect.

To find out if your Xbox controller is under warranty, all you have to do is sign in to Microsoft’s Device Service and Repair Center. This will show you what devices are still under warranty, as well as how long your warranty has left. You can access Microsoft warranty center here. Check your Microsoft warranty and create service orders - Microsoft Support.

That is indeed a possibility.

You have mentioned that your Xbox series controller is 1 and a half years old.

It is also possible that your controller is still covered within the warranty (30 days grace period)

The next best option you have is to contact Microsoft Xbox Support as they have the tools to check for your warranty options.

We do not have the tools here on our end to check the warranty status since we are Independent Advisors.

But nothing to worry! I will reroute you to Microsoft Xbox so they can check for your warranty options as soon as possible.

That's what I'm saying. There is a physical internal problem. My issue is this problem seems to be very very common. If you go to YouTube thousands of people are having this issue. There are repair kits on Amazon. Dont you think as a manufacturer there might be a bigger issue at hand here?
