What games can I play with gamepass standard

Neither of those games are included with Standard. You can view a list of games included with each type of Game Pass at https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-game-pass/games?xr=shellnav at using the filter.

So if I don’t have to buy the game but I can still play it on standard gamepass and does that allow online play

You will still have access to Gears 5 Standard Edition if you play with Gamepass. I recommend GamePass anyway there are loads of great games on there now.

Keep in mind ea pro games cannot be installed via gamepass

As they are not yet available on gamepass

Ea pro requires an actual ea play membership

Gamepass only comes with standard

Salutations! This may be occuring because said game may require you to have an EA Play membership(see here for more information: https://www.ea.com/ea-play ). The EA Play membership comes standard with the Xbox Gamepass Ultimate subscription. You are using the regular Xbox Gamepass from what I'm hearing. You may need to buy the EA Play membership.
