    What does your Xbox profile remember/unlock?


    I used to have an xbox 360 and I am thinking to getting another one for retro gaming, and I wondered what exactly I can recover when i reactivate my profile in this new 360.

    Can I redownload the xbox live games I bought?

    I assume game saves dont carry over but what about things like costume unlocks or the Spartan-458 character in Dead or Alive 4 for example?

    So what about costume and character unlocks, are they tied to saves (which i didnt back up) or are they tied to acheivments...as i said, will i have to re-unlock the Spartan character in DOA4?

    Whatever you purchased under that account you'll be able to recover as long as you can reactivate your account.

    Hi,

    Everything that you have purchased or downloaded is linked to your account so you will be able to recover those things once you login with your account.

    As for the saved memory, you can recover these under the following conditions:

    • You moved your saves to the cloud
    • You have an external hard drive with the saves stored there.

    All of this can be redownloaded as long as it was digital when you recover your 360 account
