What Does the Xbox 01 Do?

I bought an Xbox 01 for my 4 year old daughter, so she could play Kinect Party. She played it at her uncle's house and loved it, so I thought I'd buy her one as a surprise. After getting it home and spending about an hour trying to set it up with my 4 year
old dying to play Kinect Party, Microsoft forced me into signing up for a gold membership so I could download my 'free' game fro 5.99 a month, taking my bank details and forcing me to create an outlook account, it turns out the Xbox 01 has little in common
with the 360. Can't play 360 games on the Xbox 01. Disappointing if you are 4. I bought the Xbox 01, also, because I wanted it to replace my Ps3, the Ps3 plays Bluray, the Xbox 360, with the cool games for kids on Kinect, does not. So the 360 cannot replace
the Ps3 because of lack of Bluray, and the Xbox 01 has no games for under 10's, not good if you like watching HD movies, or if you are 4 years old. I am a Visual Effects Artist and I work from home, so I need to review work on a big screen. With my PS3 I could
put my files/shots onto a USB drive and view them HD on my projector screen through the PS3, this cannot be done on the Xbox 01. The Xbox 01 has failed on everything I expected of it, I am a thoroughly disappointed media consumer. I will be retuning my Xbox
01 tomorrow and will replace it with a PS4.

Will I be able to play as soon as midnight hits in my timezone?

I want to pre download it but I am worried that I will not be able to begin playing right at midnight. I remember reading that with Destiny people would not be able to play until 12:01 am pacific time if they preloaded it. I live in south Texas (central
time) so does that mean I would have to wait another two hours? Was that true or is it 12:01 your time? Right now in the description of H2A on the xbox dashboard it says the game will not be playable until 12:01 AM EST. So does anyone know what time from experience
or anything?

Sorry to hear that you are disappointed with the Xbox One. The Xbox One was never designed to play Xbox 360 games, however you can actually pass your Xbox 360 through the HDMI-in port and play it using the pass through. It would mean that you would need
your Xbox 360 wired up to your Xbox One, but it surely solves the issue for you on that score. I know you address a few concerns there, and my only advice on that would be to post your feedback in the Feedback Forum Section, which is the best place for it
to go.
