    I am getting error code 0x80240031 when trying to install Fallout Shelter. That is the only game I experience this issue with. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix it?

    I tried asking in the Fallout section, but no responses yet.

    I bought this Xbox one s about a week ago. I am getting this error code on a number of apps and games. for example on my amazon video app and on the fallout shelter app. when I searched the code it says it doesn't exist. I am getting very irritated by this.
    Anyone know what it could be?

    Fallout Shelter - Won't Download

    I'm sure there have been several of these threads, but none of them have helped me.

    I keep getting error code 0x80240031 when I try to download Fallout Shelter on my Xbox One. I have tried dozens of times on several different days to download it. It starts then immediately stops.

    When I search for that error code, all I can find are Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 related errors (nothing regarding an Xbox). So does anyone know why I keep getting this error for this particular game?

    Also - my son downloaded Fallout Shelter on his Xbox and it worked the very first attempt. So what gives????

    Same problem with me except this is happening after a game crash and re download I have lost money I spent on the game and Microsoft did nothing to help except say call Bethesda and they said call Microsoft back and forth now i have bought a new Xbox one
    S and this error code adsolute garbage.

    I am having the same error over and over... I tried everything Clear cache remove my HD using a USB drive, formatting them, LB RB + x, USB install, restart console, restart router.

    P.S. my xbox has an internal drive, I bought the HS separately
