  2. So what do you think of the demo?

lol I could... but I think I've been vocal here far too much, as it would appear I've generated far too much hatred due to my opinion being against some others. Good thing the new DLC for SRTT comes out next week... driving over people in Steelport while
humming 'Running down a dream' by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers should make me feel a lot better lol.

  3. So what do you think of the demo?

I actually sat down and played the demo again, and tried to be more optimistic/observant while I played. While I still initially feel the same as I did when I first played (I left a post on the third page I think about my initial observations), noticed a
    little bit more...

    -

The first part bored me to tears... and that muscle bound nutbar James Vega, I'm hoping I can get him killed in the full game, as to me he's like one of the GoW's jarheads (the fact he's voiced by Freddie Punce Jnr makes it easier for me to dislike him...
though if they got Leonardo Di Crapio to voice James, I'd easily hate him more than Jar Jar Binks!).

    -

The second part was slightly better, but again lacking in any real idea of what to do (Go help Mordin and kill Cerberus troopers.). The graphics look rather rundown, but then as it's a demo, one can hope it'll look prettier when the main game comes out.
The fact that in both parts of the demo, I went to cover and automatically started to walk all the way to the right, to the end of cover was even more annoying than when I first played it. I honestly hope that's just a glitch in the demo and not in the main
    game.

    -

One thing I do like, is the new leveling up system though, being able to have more choice in how to develop powers as well as some new ones. I've always liked the Engineer class... an being able to have a Sentry Turret alongside a Combat Drone... could allow
for more strategy in the full game, when used in conjuction with the rest of your party.

    -

The Multiplayer aspect... Was just like I feared it would be though. Being yelled at by a prepubescent child who ran out into the open and got themselves killed, and because I wouldn't run out and revive him. That's just one incident, but set the pace for
the rest of the time I played it. From my perspective, it's easy to see how EA/BioWare are trying to lure others from action games to
    Mass Effect 3.

    -

Still... from a demo aspect, overall it was ok. Nothing to write home about, so we'll see what happens when the full game comes out on March 8th. I could post a 'Wall-Of-Text' to better describe my opinion/observation, but I think this'll suffice.

I'd read that part of the reason for it selling sooooo bad was that the publishers actually created more cartridges for the game than their were consoles too play it on. Even if the game was the amazing, cant see people buying more than one copy of it for
    their Atari console.

If its true (probably an urban myth) then that is some truelly shocking business decisions.

  6. Yeah I read this over in 'gen game dis'. I heard E.T. was a poor game so it should be interesting to see what the devs say if they get some spotlight.

It's one of the worst games ever made. It was created in something like 6 weeks and it was so bad that a considerable number of people returned it back to the shop they bought it from, lol.

When it came out, about 10 million Atari 2600s had been sold and they must have thought that most of those owners would buy the game as well as it being a system seller.

I'm looking forward to seeing the documentary.
