What Do You Think Of "Lords Of The Fallen"?

When you watch the trailers you think "Oh... they've re-made 'Dark Souls'"...

Or at least that's the impression you get.

Trailers showing an adventurer failing against an opponent multiple times, often getting 'one shotted', before finally succeeding after building up experience and skills.

Other trailers showing "You have re-claimed your lost experience"... no doubt because you've just made it back to the spot where you died.

So when Rockstar did "Midnight Club" they taught EA how to do "Need 4 Speed".

Do you think "Lords Of The Fallen" will take From Software to school? Will it be worth playing?

thus I will respond to both!

when I think of the word spam, i think of those annoying e-mails, or that weird food that i have never actually seen in person...so i dont care for the word spam

as for "SPAMMING", the act of reusing one move, action, or button in a video game...it is only unfair if it becomes unblockable, undefeatable, etc .in other words if it becomes a glitch

but by all means, if everything is fair game, continue spamming because even if you get me the first and second time, i will find a different way to beat you the third time =p

 

Ive watched the trailers and its on my list of games Ill be getting in October

 

It looks good. We need a game a like this one the ONE to tide us over until Dark Soul 2 is released. I hope it provides a good challenge, but it doesn't get cheap. DS was challenging at times, but it never went the cheap route. Hopefully this is the same.

I think it will be good, but From Software are really good devs so they will have the better game at the end of the day.

 

I think it looks good. Glad the release date was pushed forward also. Satisfy all of the dungeon crawlers out there such as myself haha.

 

Seems good but it might finish in the top 5 underrated games.

Not because of the quality but because it doesn't have much hype and might be lost with all releases coming this fall.

From what i know it's Dark Souls with a story....Not bad at all.

 

Agree with all the comments above, Im definately picking it up. I loved Dark Souls but have to admit it got the better of me and I had to admit defeat. But as Brandiesel said it never got cheap it always battered you fair and square. I never even made
it to the proper bosses, beat the Taurus Demon and the Bell Gargoyles, figured I was on a roll and had the measure of the game then the Capra Demon put me firmly in my place. Keep meaning to go back to it, its the only game in my collection I havent finished
that I actually enjoyed playing.

 

I don't think the trailers do a good job IMO, to me it just looks like a killer instinct medieval style, with no MP, so at the moment game play would be once through and move on, so another one for the rent list when I get round to it.
