And the early access their getting.. sure some xbox owners feel little left out but i think this is bungie Studios saying welcome to Playstation.. as an Xbox owner i don`t feel left out not angry at bungie at all they heave giving us so much exclusive games
and content on the Xbox for many years :O) so hello wake up this is only timed exclusive all this content will land on Xbox owner i near future..

What do you guys think about Destiny so far?

I was on the fence for this game until I played the beta - it convinced me that the game is both a grind and a great game and for me at least, worth purchasing. I played through the initial missions in the beta and got to rank 8 (the max rank in the beta)
very quickly and asked myself, "now what?" Because of this, I quickly felt like there wasn't much there, like many of you do now with the full-release. Interestingly enough, this is where I REALLY started having fun with the game. Because there "wasn't much
left to do," I started trying other things - I played multiplayer and got really good at it - I took part in the Iron Banner towards the latter half of the beta and received a unique piece of equipment; I helped others level up and made many new friends in
the process; I tried another character with a different class setup with completely different abilities; I learned about things I had missed, like the 5 golden chests and the unique sparrow you unlock for finding them - so I pursued them fervently; I tried
to find many dead ghosts too, and did; I tried to unlock as many of the grimiore cards to say I had more than everyone else (and I did); friends and I tried to find ways to parkour all over the Tower and were quite successful (we managed to get to the top
of the tarp over the Iron Banner gate; I played soccer with complete strangers; I tried to purchase as many ships and emblems as I could; I tried to figure out which weapons were the best in each of their categories by process of elimination and experimentation;
I danced with over 30 different players at once; I tried to do speed-runs through restricted areas with monsters that could kill you in 1 shot; I learned about a group of enemy bikers that you could encounter only at certain times, so you could steal one of
their bikes and suddenly have a speeder with guns; etc. - all of this and more helped me realize that this game (and the game's world) is much bigger and better than most players seem to realize - and this was just ONE area featured in the beta!
As of today, I have reached level 8, and can't wait to see what the other worlds, character levels, multiplayer modes and maps, equipment, secrets, smartglass features, players, and various other character builds help provide.

... and to add on top of that, Bungie has made a 10-year commitment to this game's franchise! This means that even if you truly don't believe me and think this game is rather miniscule with what you can or can't do, there will be plenty more coming down
the pipeline that will be involving the Destiny universe. I for one, knowing what Bungie has accomplished in the past, and knowing what I've experienced thus far with the Destiny beta, am absolutely excited to see what else they bring to the table, along with
all of their well-hidden in-game secrets that they're so well known for.

So far, in my book, they've more than succeeded. I'm sorry many of you can't seem to see that - if you can't, I truly believe you're missing out on pursuing what could otherwise be... A great Destiny.

Firstly, it is no secret that I love Destiny

But, just because of this, it doesn't mean that I'm not going to be completely honest about what I think about it.

Bungie / Activision shot themselves in the foot with the " bare bones " content of Destiny's base game at the full retail price of $66.00

Then, add to the fact that the " bare bones " content season pass (which included The Dark Below and House Of Wolves dlc) came with the steep price of $44.00

Then, add the " bare bones " content of The Taken King with the steep price of $44.00 and it didn't add much in terms of actual game content.

Don't get me wrong, I love all of the updates that have been made to game in The Taken King

There is a surge of games coming out now that is going to blow away Destiny in terms of actual game content.

Even before this new surge of games, titles like " The Witcher 3 " outright puts Destiny to shame with the amount of content that is available on the base $66.00 game.

Look at the games that are coming out soon...

(1) Rise Of The Tomb Raider

(2) Halo 5: Guardians

(3) Fallout 4

..........

With that being said, do you guys think that Bungie / Activision is going to be releasing new content for " free " to keep the Destiny Community alive?

Or will they (Bungie / Activision) still insist on putting up a " pay wall " despite the fact that they (Bungie / Activision) is going to be absolutely trampled by the competition when it comes to getting properly priced game content?

In most cases I don't care about early access but since this is one of the games I am most looking forward to this year it is getting old. I also think the early beta access is a bit too much, PS4 already had a few days with exclusive access to the alpha
can't we all just get to play already. Oh well at leasts its only a few days. Don't care about the early access to content I'll have plenty to play once the game actually comes out, it just all the early access to actually get to play the game that bugs me.

 

Updating I'm a bit upset about the exclusive content Playstation gets now. In a press release from Activision Playstation users will be getting exclusive content with the paid DLC as well. That I don't like at all I pay the same amount for the DLC but I
get less content because of the system I own? That is going to far in my opinion.

 

Funny watching all the Halo fanboys crying over the PS4 exclusives. MS paid Bungie a lot for exclusives and now it is Sony doing it. How does it taste?

 

MS didn't pay Bungie, they purchased the whole company. And there is a difference between something being unavailable (Halo for MS or God of War for Sony) on a different system and something being available for one system with extra content for the same
price as the same game with less content on another system.
