What do you guys and girls think about Destiny 2 being delayed?

I am not happy about this at all since it was suppose to come out this year but now it is being delayed.

What do you guys think about Destiny so far?

I think the PvP multiplayer in Crucible is actually pretty good - better than many other shooters that I could name. It's polished through and through - there's just not much there. As for weapon balance, some weapons take a few shots to kill you (auto-rifle,
hand-cannon, scout rifle, pulse rifle, grenades, and melee), while others, if used correctly, can kill you instantly (shotgun, fusion rifle, sniper rifle, rocket launcher, light machine gun, and specials).

Now, look at that list again:

A few shots

all primary weapons, grenades, and melee

One-shot

everything else plus certain specials

What makes this interesting, is the one-shot kill weapons aren't always one-shot; they have to be used skillfully or properly in most cases:

shotgun (must be up-close)

fusion rifle (must be pre-charged)

sniper rifle (must be a headshot)

rocket launcher (usually only one shot; slow to reload)

light machine gun (must maintain line of sight)

The abilities work similarly:

nova bomb (slow to use)

radiance (only upgrades other abilities)

fist of havoc (slow to use at range or risk getting in close)

ward of dawn (completely defensive - strangely, I haven't seen anyone use this at all in Destiny)

golden gun (relies on player accuracy; only 3 shots)

blade dance (only works in melee distance)

It's actually pretty simple - use your primary weapons at medium ranges, special weapons at close or long range (depending on your selection), your heavy weapons when you're outnumbered, and your grenades around corners. Your special abilities will vary as
shown above.

Over hyped, solid game. And I am sure the Game Magazines will have it overrated. As stated numerous times, to each their own.

I don't mind the delay just as long as Bungie / Activision actually uses the time to make the game better.

However, what I do mind though is the fact that Bungie / Activision will not be releasing new content for Destiny 1 while they are working on Destiny 2.

I love Destiny

But, if Bungie / Activision is going to let Destiny 1 have the same content that it currently has now and they're hoping that it will it keep the player base happy until some time in 2017; then they're going to be in for a big shock when Destiny 2 gets A
LOT less players.

I don't like being mean / rude to anyone, but Bungie / Activision needs to realize that in order for Destiny 2 to be successful they need to keep the current player base happy

A lot of the current Destiny players are already bored to oblivion with the games current lack of new content now.

Not bringing out new Expansion DLCs in 2016 is going to turn off a A LOT of players from buying Destiny 2.

Especially those that have spent $140.00 (Destiny Vanilla + Season Pass + The Taken King DLC) already on Destiny 1.

These people (those that have already spen $140.00 on Destiny 1) are going to be looking to get more entertainment for their money and it is a safe bet that Destiny 2 is not going to be their lists of new games to buy in 2017.

Destiny needs new content

..........

I have nothing else to do in the game.

All of my gear is 335 already.

It is pointless for me to get Strange Coins because Xur doesn't sell anything worth buying, 3 Of Coin is pointless to use because I already have the stuff I want, and I have 140 something Heavy Ammo Synthesis.

I am playing Destiny a lot less now.

Like most I am saddened because I miss being an active Destiny player. At last count my wife and I had over 5000 hours in the game so to say we were addicted would be an understatement. As for Destiny 2 being delayed, I am ok if the wait is worth it. I
would be extremely disappointed if Bungie rushed to get Destiny 2 out the door only to spend the following year “fixing” it. My Clan is excited for Rise of Iron so hopefully the new content will keep us active for a while.

I am not a fan of 3rd Person Perspective Action games.

I am not a fan of Hack and Slash games.

I am not a fan of needing Blueprints to get upgrades.

I have the same issue.. 335 everything, all exotics so three of coins is useless. Ive been using strange coins to buy heavy synth and donating it to dead orbit to the point where its at like 133. Hit tier 12 today on my hunter so theres litterally nothing
left to do.
