What do u expect from games with gold on xbox one

I don't "expect" anything. I think I've only downloaded one game thus far with the program. "Free" games don't interest me... if MS were giving out "free" vacation time or more hours in a day to complete my lengthy backlog, I'd hop right on that train!

 

you can forget about it if you're expecting Ryse lol. they'll wait until the stable of games is plentiful. makes no sense to start it any other way because in a few months you'd own every title on Xbox ONe.

I loved the first 2 Uncharted games, but the 3rd was pretty boring. The Vita version wasn't much better. As for who equated newer or big name game, its seems to be a very common complaint with the program. I've heard countless complaints that the games they
offer are either too old, or that their not bigger name titles.

^This. I can't believe some people really think that MS is going to start throwing out all the $60 games when they start G4G on the Xbox One. When they do start, I expect them to throw out the $20 and less games. Since
they haven't really given any details about it on the One, I could also see them changing the plan to 1 game a month. (at least until they get more games?) I could be wrong though. Maybe we'll get Ryse for the 1st game. lol

 

Im guessing the first gaem will be project Spark. Eventually Zoo Yycoon and the other exclusives. We dont have alot of arcade games yet but those will be the eventual free ones.

 

I'd be happy with 1 game a month and it would be nice to see some totally new titles released this way, not just older titles.

At the end of the day a free game is a free game, of course let's say they released Ryse: Son of Rome, a lot of people like me that have played it won't be interested, again though I won't grumble as I've lost nothing in one sense but you will never please
everyone.

I look forward to seeing what they actually offer us.

 

Honestly, I can't see any 60 dollar title being released for Games for Gold anytime before 2015. I can see some Indie Games getting released (which is fine with me), and maybe some of the flops. If ports become more frequent I could see some 360 ports
become free games for gold, but not if they do all these HD remakes which they can make money off of. Honestly, I see the Games for Gold for X1 needing to gain some traction before offering up too many decent titles.

 

I already own and play the games that i like....So whatever they gives it doesn't matter....Might be more interesting in 2-3 years....

 

I think though there will be "some" people that will dismiss titles without even trying them, sort of like the people on here ... "That game is totally crap" ... yet they have never played the game lol

Take Loco Cycle for example, I've seen a few say it will probably be one of the first titles offered and I know a lot have really bashed it. Ok it's not a game I would pay full price for but my daughter got it on her XB1 and while it won't win any awards I
found it quite a fun little title and certainly wouldn't grumble if I got it for nothing.

 

Phantasy, alright. I thought you were referring to someone specifically in this thread or on this forum. Of course newer or bigger budget doesn't equate it to being better. I even loved the heck out of one of Microsoft's titles that has largely been considered
a flop since it was multiplayer-only.

Lofty, I'd love to give more titles a try. Money is just extremely tight (like for most people) and I'd hate to just throw away $20 or whatever. At least with CoD or BF, I can hate wasting $60 but at least it's wasted because of the horrible community of
shooters that care about winning over playing with any actual Skill. (i.e. DropShotters and the like)

 

@Burnin And that is how you milk these programs for all their worth. I'd stop buying games too.

 

If there is a game that sucks when they decide to do GWG for Xbox ONE, that is the one you'll see on their first. Fighter Within and LocoCycle will probably be the first 2 to go. GWG is a joke, they hardly ever release anything worth having. I still like
the program....just waiting for the day they release something I might enjoy playing.

 

I expect much complaining.

Stoyvensen, you know what will make people complain even more.. Microsoft giving away a big name title that hundreds of thousands of people have already spent $60 to PURCHASE only for it to be given away for free.
