What do I need to do to play?

So I decided to buy RDR2, and I got the RDR2 Story mode and Ultimate edition one.

It only lets me install the ultimate and special edition content, and not story mode.

I'm just gonna assume that I'm stupid, and bought a pack that doesn't include what I need to play the actual game.

At the very least it was on sale when I got it, so I didn't hash out the ~$80 that it goes for now.

So do I honestly have to buy the option for $60, that includes Story mode(for like 40) just to actually play this game?

To play the game you need to purchase the Online part of the game as that's actually the game, the story mode it's a dlc for the online mode

Just to add to that, it doesn't have to be wireless, you can use the wired as well (Via ethernet cable like majority of PCs do). But other than that Slytherkat has it all pretty much covered.
