    I have tried to make a purchase and noticed that my card had expired so i accessed the payment and billing tab to edit my information because i have gotten and updated card. I entered all my information verbatim to what is on the card and my account proceeds to tell me that the information i’m inputting does not match the information attached to the card.

    I cannot download games off Xbox.com/Xbox Live store on my Xbox 360 console with Microsoft Account funds.

    Yes, I did change my region. My friend bought it for me from Canada, and when I tried to redeem it, it said that the currency is different so I changed my region to Canada and I redeemed the code, it worked. When I enter my Payment & Billing information,
    it says: "You have in your Microsoft Account: $25.00

    My question is, why won't it let me purchase the game if I already have funds? Do I have to add credit card information EVEN if I have funds? I never entered credit card or PayPal information, do I have to?

    ACCOUNT RECOVERY GONE HORRIBLE

    I know the password and I enter it correctly every time.... I do not need to reset it thats what microsoft keeps asking!! When I log in it says I need to verify my account by entering the code sent to email (which i do correctly) then it says thats not
    enough and makes me type in more security questions with my console information which I also do. Then after that it tells me it could not verify me... it is ridiculous and ILLEGAL to lock someone out of their account when they have the CORRECT information!!

    I got the same message, but after I entered my credit card information it worked. Although you're not paying anything it is still required. To enter credit card information do the following: 1. Hit the xbox button 2. got to settings and select "Account Management"
    3. Under "Your Billing Option" select "Manage Payment Options" 4. enter Credit card info 5. Try getting the free xbox live again.

    It worked for me, and I hope could Help others with my problem.
