What do I do to get my broken Xbox One Elite controller replaced or repaired?

Hi there,

In September 2017 I have bought an Xbox One Elite controller at a store that sells refurbished gaming products. It worked great for about half a year, until the left bumper broke, seemingly out of nowhere. It was not really a surprise however, since the
other two Elite controllers in my household have had the exact same defect. Now, because I bought the controller at a story that sells refurbished products, there was only a two-month warranty, so they told me they could not help me with repairing or replacing
the controller.

Now, on Reddit there are several people who tell me they either brought their Elite controller to a Microsoft store nearby and got a replacement (even after expired warranty), or they went through the process online. However, in my country (The Netherlands)
there is no Microsoft store. Also, when I go through the steps in the online service center, I eventually can only order replacement kits for the thumbsticks, D-pads etc. There is no replacement/reparation option.

The Microsoft Support Twitter account sent me to the Xbox Support Twitter account, who did not respond. Then someone else sent me here. What can I do?

Xbox one controller have problems

Hello this is my first issue with the xbox one it has to do with the controller. I don't know if the A button is broken on the inside or what but i have to keeping on tapping the A button the get it to select a app or a video or whatever i want to play or
watch. so again i don't know if it's broken or i need to get it replaced or if it's just a bug in the system that is affecting the controller, I could use some advice on what to do.

I need to send in my Xbox one elite controller to get fixed. At the device service and repair in the elite controller thing it wants to send me replace accessories not an actual
elite controller. There's a replacement standard controller. Do I use the standard replacement and I send my elite controller and they'll send me an elite controller or a standard? I'm just confused, am I overlooking something? I've read other post about broken
elite controllers but the answered ones just have a link to the Device service and repair page or something along the lines of that.

I'm sorry to hear that there hasn't been a full response in regard to this.

Now, how it works with Xbox Accessories the manufacture warranty they get usually lasts around 90-Days.

In regards to this being an elite controller as mentioned above I would suggest you to contact Live Support. They will be able to determine if your elite controller is covered in warranty and if there would be any offers for the controller available.
