    What do I do once my microsoft account has been stolen and cant access it anymore?


    I have fallen for the Minecraft discord server trick today, I am usually more careful but I was tired and didn't know better.
    The scammer changed the email and password of the account making it useless to try and log in.
    I have tried everything on google and on Microsoft website but nothing has been helpful to even at least block that account. I've accepted defeat and I know I wont ever recover that Minecraft account back, but my main concern is everything connected to that account. For example my Windows, my google, my email and etc.
    I thought if I got in contact with Microsoft support it would help, but after countless hours of effort I found no way in talking to anyone other than a bot which kept proposing the same things which previously did not work.
    Please help me in a clear way because I cant even switch Microsoft accounts on my devices because I cant access my previous one.

    Why do I have to pay to unlock my account???

    Sorry it's not a billing issue. My account has been stolen, and Microsoft support has charged me to restore my accounts but that didn't happen. Now I can't access anything to do with the email address and my Live account has been stolen?? As of right now
    I can't even log on to my PC and support is once again trying to fix it. How was this my fault, and why am I being charges?

    Somebody has access to my games

    So i gave someone access to my games a while back by letting them log onto my account with out using the password then i changed it to be safe but they still have access to my games but i cant do anything about it .
    To add to what's already been said dont share your account anymore.

    Doing so is against the rules/is a bannable offense.

    Account stolen - What do I lose when it is recovered?

    Let me explain more clearly:

    My XBox is not currently online. I connect it to Live once every few weeks to buy some games and/or sync my achievements. I haven't done that for about 3 weeks.

    Last week, I received suspicious emails informing me I had made purchases on my Live account. When I looked into it, I found that someone had stolen my account. Microsoft are currently processing an Unauthorised Access report on it.

    Since I haven't connected my XBox for 3 weeks, it still works fine. It doesn't know my account has been stolen, and I can still play games on it. However, next time I connect to Live I will need to recover my account (once the Unauthorised Access has been
    processed).

    When I recover my account, I know I will lose achievements, but do I lose everything else as well? That's my question: Will my saves be wiped?
