What do I do? Enforcement unresponsive

I had been contacting for about a month here's what happened. I downloaded an Xbox Rewards app ran by Prizefullfillment and I used it to take the surveys and such like usual. Then over do time my account had been banned until 12-31-9999 for something
regarding trying to get other players information. I havent done this and I never use the messaging system. Recently I have used the app on my other account and my friend calls me and says "why do you need my information?" I tell him what are you talking about?
and he says you sent me a message on xbox live asking for my information. I didn't send a single message and it just so happens right after I sign onto this app. They are taking my information and using it to try and take more peoples information. I don't
know what to do to try and stop this from happening, and how they are doing this. I have removed the app from my computer but Im wondering if my gamertag will ever see the light of day again? Since these hackers ruined my name is it gone forever ?

No one on the forums can tell you as the enforcement team do not use the forums.

An email would of been sent to the address linked to your account telling you why & how long or the enforcement site is the only place to see.

 

I am pretty sure there is no official Xbox Live Rewards app. It seems that you were phished by a 3rd party app that Microsoft has no control over. Unfortunately, your account is probably gone for good. You can try contacting support and asking them to
open an "Unauthorized Access Case" but they might not be able to find anything and your ban will stand. Accounts are investigated before being banned and it is extremely rare to have them un-banned. Beware of unofficial sites.

 

I will try that next I suppose, I will wait to see if enforcement team replies to me with what their thoughts are in this.

 

The enforcement team do not read these forums. The only part that they read is the account suspensions/bans section and even then it is only to tell you why you have had action taken on your account. Phoning support is the only way.

 

I know that when I said enforcement unresponsive I meant I posted in the account ban section multiple times over a month period

 

As I said, the only response you will get there is for why your account was banned. You already know this so the only thing left for you to do is file an "Unauthorized Access Case" with phone support. Other than that you will not regain access to your
account. Sorry.
