what could've happened to my xbox 360?

I've got the 250 Gb version of the xbox 360 E and one day when I got home I've decided to play it because I was bored and out of the blue I noticed a scratch being on top of it. it's slightly deep and I can sort of feel it if I run my finger on it and I
don't know where it came from. it looks like to me that it was done with something sharp or something like that.

my brother used to play it a lot and he says he doesn't know what happened to it and honestly I don't think he'll ever tell me the truth.

so Do you think someone may have dropped or hit it according to you?

I've always had it put horizontally and on a desk since I bought it.

Any opinion or advice will be really appreciated,thanks in advance.

It's not possible that could've happened. I'm the only one with my account details, therefore no one could've seen this code. Any chance someone may have guessed my code or something?

From how it sounds, you could've received a comm. ban.
The enforcement site will more than likely give you your answer on what message was reported that could've caused this to happen.

Sounds like there are several issues at play here. For the disc-read issue, please try
this guide. As for your profile missing, please try recovering your Gamertag. If you continue to have issues at that point, please remove any memory devices attached to the console, and then try the game discs.

If these steps don't resolve your issue(s), the console will likely need repair. You can check your warranty status and set one up
here.

Could've been a fluke or it could mean your Xbox 360 is breaking down.

If it doesn't happen again you're fine, and the only way to know is to keep playing.
