What comes to mind?

Same here as well! Halo 3 and Perfect Dark Zero were the first Online games I played, oh and the multiplayer on The Darkness lol.

The first Dead Space is actually the only one I didnt play, I loved Dead Space 2 and I didn't enjoy the 3rd one at all :/

I meant to play the first but just never got around to it.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow blew my mind.

Otherwise, the way in which DLC went from a great way to support your games, to content that was held off the disc so that the studios and publishers could extort money from gamers.

I wish DLC had never been invented.

Well, last gen was really the first time I played games online, so I think I'll go with that. Thinking of all of the interesting people I've met from all over the world.

There are a lot of things that really stand out to me from last gen especially what 24 hrs above me said, but if I were to just focus on games than the ones the stand out to me are:

Gears of War. It's not my favorite series and I'm not really a fan of Gears, but that first game changed last gen.

Skyrim just because of the incredible open-world and freedom to do what yo wanted too.

CoD Modern Warfare because it really inspired other companies to make annual releases. Obviously that's bad, but still.

I have a lot of games that I love more than the ones I said, but they stand out to me the most.

@ Moshed Brotatoe. You didn't play the first Dead Space? You need to play that game! It's better than the second in my opinion.
