What cod has the best?

1) What cod has the best weapon selection?

2) What cod has the best perk set up?

3) what cod has the best online game mode selection?

4) What cod has the right level to prestige and how long it takes?

5) What cod has the best killstreak rewards system and rewards?

6) What cod has the best overall balanced online multiplayer experience? Or smoothest online gameplay?

In my opinion Mw2 had the best weapons selection in terms of weapon types and realistic sounds and looks. Cod 4 and wAw had the best perk system in my opinion just 3 selections and nothing too crazy! I also liked cod 4 and waw game mode selection for game
modes like hard core ffa and headquarters! Waw even had tanks in some maps. I also liked cod 4 for level 55 to prestige with just 10. To me that was the best setup. Cod 4 and waw had the best killstreak rewards, a simple 3, 5 and 7 with nothing too extravagant.
And my opinion for the best multiplayer experience was cod 4 for some fun and memorable moments in online gaming.

Activision teases Black Ops 3

Treyarch's CoD series probably has (after 3, that is), pound for pound... the best packages of all the CoD games. I'm a big fan f what they do. they tell a better story, they have a better multipayer, they do co-op better and they do Zombies best. I don't care what suffix Treyarch's CoD has, as long as its a fucking Trearch CoD game. Mucho Excite-o

You not seen the latest COD Trailers......it has everything to do with the Military of the future and war :laugh: :laugh:

 

1) COD 4 had the best weapons. The recent releases have had really 'soft' sounding weapons. I love the way the M16, mp5, ak 47, ak 74, RPD, M60, Barrett, and ect. sounded. They were all very unique. Now they all feel and sound the same.

2) They all had their pro's and cons. The simplicity of early games was nice, but stopping power and jugs were OP. Pro Perks are interesting, but they can be a grind every prestige. I guess I'll go with ghost. I like being able to fully customize my
set up...but I don't think there are any OP set ups.

3) COD 4. The only game modes I play are SnD, domination and TDM. War, KC and SnR are all quality game modes, but I hate all the other game modes that come along with them. I think adding additional game modes spreads the community out, which isn't a
good thing imo.

My ideal game mode set up would be Call of Duty 4...Minus cage match, Old school and team tac. Add in War, KC and SnR.

4) The only game I cared about prestige in was COD 4 in the beginning. After that it meant nothing because of all the lazy people who want fake 'prestige' lol.

5) Modern Warfare 2 is the best imo. They were way overpowered, but that was half the fun. Things got hectic with the AC-130, Harriers, chopper gunner, Emergency drops, and the introduction of predator missiles.

(quick breakdown of the others)

Ghosts - After the first time I earned the Loki/jugs I never wanted to do it again. They are sooo boring.

Blops 2 - They were overpowered, and they weren't fun. The highest streaks shouldn't be A.I. controlled. Dogs, swarm, escort drone, warthog were just straight up boring imo. Throw in orbital vsat...just yuck.

Cod 4/waw - I don't mind the very simple, but easy to earn cycle in those games. Dogs did get out of hand though. I don't think the community would enjoy going back to this simple format.

6) The most balanced game is probably ghosts. There are no blatantly overpowered guns, perks or kill streaks. I think the lack of kill streak rewards actually made the game seem a little boring in the end. Killstreaks are a huge headache, but they add
a whole new dimension to the game. You have something you have to use strategy to work around them or something to really work towards. If you get a 12 kill streak in a video game I believe you deserve some sort of reward. When it boil down to it...balance
doesn't always equal fun in casual video games.

COD 4 and WaW were arguably the best overall experience because people played those to have fun. People would dive on b flag over and over all game because they didn't care about a kill death ratio (wasn't even a lobby leaderboard in cod 4). There weren't
many trolls or hackers in the beginning (When 3arc gave up on waw it got bad). People actually talked to each other...it wasn't just lazy insults over and over again. People were just excited to be playing this new and exciting game. It was also the reason
many people bought 360s so they hadn't had a chance to become tainted by the community. It just gets worse with every release...Though I think it has somewhat leveled off. Now people just leave their mics unplugged or go into private chat.

MW2 was probably the best 'game experience'. It was the introduction to more perks, weapons, killstreaks, ect. They really took a big step with that game. It may have been the wrong step in the end, but it sure was fun when it happened.

 

mw2 was a great concept and step in the future for call of duty. and if I/w would have stayed the same, things would have been different! I feel that cod took major steps backwards after mw2.

 

I thought MW2 was boring, infact I hardly played it, I went back and played Waw and COD4, until black ops came out, even now I can go back and play all the other COD's but I stay clear of MW2 as much as possible.

Ghost, although the kill streaks might not be as OP, the perk system more than makes up for it, IW took a good pick 10 system and turn it into IMO the most unbalanced perk system ever. Plus the introduction of gimmicks imo shows they are losing direction.

COD 4 wins on every count IMO (although the choppers where a little OP), and they could be a better game selection, although at the time I only played FFA, but I love CTF. COD4 rocks.

 

Don't forget that bo2 was also the most hacked title In the cod series as well....had little to no support from either Microsoft or the devs. It would have been awesome if it wasn't for that

 

Bo2 was the most hacked? Ever played mw2? That was horrible. Also waw later on was a hackers paradise.

 

I appoligize . I meant mw2.....true other became a hackers paradise. But mw2 was where it became so obvious that ms and the devs would only finger point at each other that hackers openly bragged.

But of course if you hacked ms points....then your stealing money from god and they would almost insta banish you.

 

guys cod 4 was the best of all time. but when everyone including myself moved on to waw and mw2 no one noticed that cod 4 was the first game to be over run with hackers. You can't play the game an hour now without worring that your account was infected
with a negative score counter. I even played in a lobby where everyone was spongebob and squidward. Mw2 and waw are bad but cod 4 today is horrible. But this goes for every cod game! Once a new game hits in november the support for older titles goes away
and the hackers take over every game.

 

cod 4 today is fine most of the time but the quickscopers and auto m16's do my head in thats the only reason why i dont play it now, waw was a good game but cod4 was the best ever and will not be bettered, ghosts is quite balanced and its the best cod since
waw, but the stupid more or less invicible ground bomb things ruin it for me, was has made a mess of cod is the stupid ridiculous lag comp, i downloaded a few movies while playing and came top scorer in team death every time, get rid of lag comp it ruins mp

 

They are ALL the SAME anyways, pretty much. CoD is CoD.

I miss shipment. And killzone from cod 4 dlc. Heck I miss all the fun times from cod 4. It should be remastered and released on the One. I am amazed at how many people who were on the IW team for cod 2, 4, and mw2 are now at Respawn and how cod games
from bo1 to current took off in a different direction and haven't been the same since. Treyarch still makes an ok cod, but IW is no longer IW and sledgehammer has yet to show me anything good.
