    I have an error code that is on a digital game and a disk game (0x8027025a) I have tried all the reset and delete tricks. Come on Microsoft fix it and no not my network. I run at 65.2 Mbps and 0 latency. HELP ALREADY.

    I didn't know where to post this, so I hope you guys don't mind it here.

    Just bought a brand-new XBOX 360 slim with the kinect on black friday. took it home, and it kept shutting down the whole system every few minutes because the power brick was overheating. we tried every troubleshoot out there and nothing worked. after multiple
    calls to 360 support and microsoft store (who we bought it from), we decide to send in the power brick for repair. That was a WHOLE MONTH AGO. So we haven't been able to actually play the console - it's been sitting in a box in our living room for over a month.

    XBOX support keeps giving us the run around. first they promise to give us a replacement in 10 days - we don't receive it - so we check on it, and "somehow" our order was cancelled - even though xbox support themselves can't figure out who or why it was
    cancelled. So we talk to a supervisor, LANCE, and he PROMISES us the replacement will be at our door in 4-5 days - which would have been a week ago. We call back, and he says sorry but we are still waiting for the ok from corporate. however i can't give you
    any contact info to reach them yourself or anyone else to help you with this problem. and then his own support agent tells me he probably lied to me by saying i would get it in 4-5 days. i call him out on it and all he says is, "sorry, we're trying to get
    it out as soon as possible but i have no idea when. nothing else we can do."

    I've tried calling Microsoft and getting ahold of someone through there, every support agent at xbox 360 tells me something different and gives me the runaround and then blames their supervisor, supervisor won't do anything but keep repeating the same thing
    over and over, and here we are STUCK WITH A BRAND NEW CONSOLE THAT WON'T WORK. First xbox we've ever had and frankly i don't know what to do other than return the whole thing and go with PS3 or something? Does anyone have any CLUE how i can get this figured
    out? please help!!! i hear xbox is awesome and i want it but i am so fed up with support that i'm ready to throw in the towel and give up on xbox altogether. even the supervisor told me "okay its a deal", to get ps3 instead if he didn't do good on his promise.
    wtf???

    what can i do?

    the only reason i didn't is because we ordered it online and xbox assured me it would have been a quick, easy process to replace it. we can't find any power bricks where we live or within a 2 hour radius. i will just have to bite the bullet and buy one online,
    i guess. but how do i file a complaint? does anyone know?

    I would ask for my money back from the online store. Then i would go to a GameStop and get you a 360.



    I went through this with some tires. Got them online to save money and it ended up costing me alot more. I will never buy anything online where I cant get to a store some what close.

    Most online retailers have some sort of return policy. I have no idea why you didn't just contact them first and see about getting a replacement?? Every bit of modern technology runs the risk of having a "lemon." The xbox 360 is no different. It's probably
    too late now for a return, so I hope if you do get a new power brick... it works out for you.
