What can we do about cheaters?

So far in the last 20min I've seen about three cheaters and I report them but I feel like I should be doing more! I mean I work hard for my gear so why shouldnt they? Can someone tell me how I can do more? I mean i sit there so they can't but they will just
switch servers.

I didn't know where to post this, so I hope you guys don't mind it here.

Just bought a brand-new XBOX 360 slim with the kinect on black friday. took it home, and it kept shutting down the whole system every few minutes because the power brick was overheating. we tried every troubleshoot out there and nothing worked. after multiple
calls to 360 support and microsoft store (who we bought it from), we decide to send in the power brick for repair. That was a WHOLE MONTH AGO. So we haven't been able to actually play the console - it's been sitting in a box in our living room for over a month.

XBOX support keeps giving us the run around. first they promise to give us a replacement in 10 days - we don't receive it - so we check on it, and "somehow" our order was cancelled - even though xbox support themselves can't figure out who or why it was
cancelled. So we talk to a supervisor, LANCE, and he PROMISES us the replacement will be at our door in 4-5 days - which would have been a week ago. We call back, and he says sorry but we are still waiting for the ok from corporate. however i can't give you
any contact info to reach them yourself or anyone else to help you with this problem. and then his own support agent tells me he probably lied to me by saying i would get it in 4-5 days. i call him out on it and all he says is, "sorry, we're trying to get
it out as soon as possible but i have no idea when. nothing else we can do."

I've tried calling Microsoft and getting ahold of someone through there, every support agent at xbox 360 tells me something different and gives me the runaround and then blames their supervisor, supervisor won't do anything but keep repeating the same thing
over and over, and here we are STUCK WITH A BRAND NEW CONSOLE THAT WON'T WORK. First xbox we've ever had and frankly i don't know what to do other than return the whole thing and go with PS3 or something? Does anyone have any CLUE how i can get this figured
out? please help!!! i hear xbox is awesome and i want it but i am so fed up with support that i'm ready to throw in the towel and give up on xbox altogether. even the supervisor told me "okay its a deal", to get ps3 instead if he didn't do good on his promise.

the only reason i didn't is because we ordered it online and xbox assured me it would have been a quick, easy process to replace it. we can't find any power bricks where we live or within a 2 hour radius. i will just have to bite the bullet and buy one online,
i guess. but how do i file a complaint? does anyone know?

 

I was blocking a spawn while typing that because I started when I was stopping someone and someone else comes up and trys to farm!

 

Farming is cheating? Anyways, we have found that running tiger strikes will yield more inventory than cave farming or spawn farming. After about the 4th or 5th strike you will start getting legendary engrams, motes, coins, plus you get xp and rep. Also,
you can work on whatever gear/weapons you are leveling up and with enough engrams to take to the crypt you can level that up as well, and get a legendary package at the post office... IMO you should worry about your character and not worry about what other
people are doing. If it doesn't influence what is happening to you directly I wouldn't waste my time with it, (like sitting in front of a spawn point). Ya feel me?

Farming isn't cheating. They are not gaining any advantage over you by them killing enemies for hours as opposed to doing strikes. That's pretty bad that you go out of your way to report them and block the spawns. If anything it seems like you should be
getting reported for bad sportsmanship.

I sometimes go to popular farming areas and just killing enemies for a bit to try and level weapons that I don't typically use (a revolver).

If other players want to shoot aimlessly into a single direction, just move on. There's no point in being rude and ruining their 'fun'.

Destiny is the 'friendliest' game I've come upon. If a public event is happening everyone drops what they are doing and bands together, if players find chests/collectables they point them out for others. Don't being that guy who goes out of his way to ruin
others experiences.
