What brands of phones hotspot is supported with Series X

Hey guys. I can't call the support number. Nothing in the forum is helping but im in need of some serious help. I currently use hotspot from my phone to play my Xbox series X online. This unfortunately is my only option for internet so there is no talking around it. With that being said I am basically being forced to upgrade my phone to a more compatible phone with the new network. I have already attempted to upgrade my phone to the Samsung S21 and could connect it to my Xbox however could not play online gaming (**** is the point). I had a Torredo issue whatever that means. I have did the trouble shooting to try and fix it but to no avail the problem still persisted. So long and short of this message, What newer phone brands out there does the hotspot work to with its fullest potential. I bought the Series X because it was clearly more superior however what's the point of it if I can't play online with my friends. Any and all help is greatly appreciated and I hope to figure this hot before I have to take the option of taking a shot in the dark again. Thanks in advance.

As useful as hotspots are, it is not the best option to play online as it does not have the necessary structure to play online.

The problem you are facing is not because of your phone but because of the network ports that your ISP blocks or limits.

On a router, it's possible to adjust the settings but I'm not sure if it's possible for your ISP to do the same on your phone.

Hi guys,

Just letting you know that the issue seems to be resolved on my Xbox Series X. (Haven't tried the Xbox One X yet). The Microsoft support resource asked me to connect my console to my phone's hotspot and try a backwards compatible disc. It worked - I didn't get that error message, and allowed me to play a game that I had previously installed, and install a new game that I hadn't previously installed. I then switched back to my normal internet connection and it still worked. No idea if pairing to the phone hotspot fixed it, or if Microsoft rectified a service fault but either way it might be worth checking on your side also.

My Xbox Series X isnt connecting to my boost mobile portable hotspot. It keeps kicking me offline and telling me i have a double nat. I just got the hotspot yesterday. Its a coolpad surf with 50gb of high speed data. My computer phone tv roku everything
else works great on it. I even tried booting every device off except the xbox. Idk what to do
