What are your thoughts on the black ops 3 beta?

@Deedles I agree. Titanfall does it better. Titanfall is a lot of fun. Everyone I know that played it loved it. Most wanted a campaign but not sure why. With COD they might play the campaign but they always go on about how the campaign is not needed
and it is about MP. I do know that a big reason a number of people I know that played it quit (they did play it a long time) was the smart pistol and the AI players. One could run around with the smart pistol and get 50-60 of those and score really well.
Stay in a Titan a lot even if you lost the previous. I had plenty of matches with 10-12 pilots and 40+ AI and it can be unbalanced. Or you kill a pilot and one of those things runs in and finishes you off.

I am not against those in the game. And there were plenty of pilots considering the Titans and the battles that ensued in them. But this game could have benefitted, with some players at least, from a straight up 12v12 with no Titans mode or something.

I also feel that Titanfall was a shell when launched. Almost like they were using that game to see what people wanted the most and Titanfall 2 will be much more complete and robust.

 

but is that not the point of the game Titan, the titan is the major part of the game I thought ? so if you take that out what's left ? CS with a space theme or any other Online FPS ..

 

Oh, I agree steveV. The Titan is a very fun addition. I would not play a mode without it. But giving the option is a good thing. Some people may not want to do the Titan thing all the time. And it would get them playing. And over time might even pull
them into the Titan modes once they get playing, for people who just passed it up because they disliked the idea of the Titans all the time. No harm in that. That said, Titans are a main feature and they are fun, in my opinion. I would play more but getting
people I know to play just does not happen that often and there are just not as many people playing anymore.

 

I think the COD beta is a massive improvement since ghost, the last cod i played, it plays nicely, I don't mind the boosts, or the supers, the wall running is ok, but simple, titanfall does it better bcause the combat from wall running is massively better
in titanfall, but cods is smooth and plays well.

But its still peer to peer, hit detection is off, time to kill is very short for core, and bullet damage is inconsistant, also the prespective is off, it might be just me, but everything is tiny, so when there are people head glitching its impossible to
see them, and the colours blend into each other, it might be my colour blindness but spotting people was hard work.

While I enjoyed the beta I know they haven't address the reasons I stopped playing it, and I wont be buying it although I would love to just for zombies but I am not paying full price for zombies.

What it really does though is confirm that titanfall lost my interest because of the lack of contact with real people, COD you run into people all the time, the maps are smaller and thats the challange, titanfall the maps are bigger and there are the same
amount of people, so while titanfalls maps are great with lots of titans, its not great with just people.

So while the beta is nice, it doesn;t get my money (or at full price) anyway.

 

I'm seriously addicted to search and destroy again. Not sure if that's enough to make me get the game, but we'll see.

 

I believe I talked a bunch of my friends not to buy it. They didn't know it was futuristic. I'm like yeah it is with robot body armor and jet pack and futuristic made up weapons. To many future like games out enough right now in Gears of war and Halo
and Destiny and Titanfall and Warframe.
