Halo 3 and Dark Souls, although Dragon's Dogma, MW3 and Forza 3 or 4 are all up there.

Along with H3 and Dark Souls, AoE2 and FFX are up there to finish off my absolute favourite games of all time.

 

FFX was really good. FFX-2 nooooo way. To conclude the ending to FFX through the many hours it took to play through FFX-2 was just unbearable. Totally didn't enjoy it at all but FFX was up there, brilliant game.

 

I bought FFX/FFX-2 HD Remaster a couple of days ago, I played it for 6 hours then traded it in, I really did not like it, I don't know if it was the unskippable cut-scenes or the slow story, but I just could not play it any longer, the battle system had
potential, but the game has not aged well in my opinion, or perhaps it's because I am a huge FFXIII fan! I actually rate FFXIII as one of my top ten games of all time.

For reference, Metroid Prime, Resident Evil 4, Mass Effect 2, Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch are the games I rate above FFXIII at the moment...

 

Halo 3, back when it was new.

Halo: Reach, I played that like there was no tomorrow.

Borderlands, I like the first one more than the second, but after playing the second I just can't go back to the first.

Portal 2, it really made you think

LA Noir, wish there would have been a second game

Assassin's Creed 3, single-player, don't have the patience for multiplayer

Plants vs Zombies, I got hooked on both games

Peggle, even though it's been around for years it's a game I'll always go back to every now and then

I tried FF13 WILK0 and got so far into the game that I was on the final stretch. You know that place with all the statues and the floating platforms. I got stuck there and just put it down for good. Haven't looked back since. It was way too linear and I
have high expectations from the franchise after playing the 90's releases. I'm right there with you on cutscenes you cant skip, I don't care who makes a game they should give you a skip option so people at least have the choice lol.
