What are you playing?

Hello Fellow gamers , I thought I might start a topic on the games you're currently playing or just finished on your XB1, Give a rating if you wish, every opinion counts and you don't need to like everything. DR3 is my current game and what a surprise
this one is to me. Was never into the Zombie thing but this game does it so well that I'm glad I bought it. I'm going to say it, the RPG elements make a huge difference to me with DR3, I want to find the blue prints and make everything possible, I want to
explore everywhere and pick up collectables, I most definately want to flatten zombies with a steam roller. I've only just worked out that you're meant to take the survivors back to the motel room and check them out on the pin board, sorry 3 nameless people
who died. Only been playing for a few hours but this title deserves praise as a launch title and exclusive. Ryse, Well I finished the campaign super quick and haven't played multiplayer yet, This is tricky because it's so popular. To be honest, I didn't like
it myself, at least the campaign anyway, it seemed lacking in too many areas. The games is based off QTE play, at least it looks nice but I'm left wondering, where's the game?

Level 30 redguard, focusing on one handed, restoration, heavy armor, alchemy and enchanting. Couldn't care less about the other skills with this character so I'm not expecting fast leveling.

 

How did you like the story in RYSE? I honestly loved the story, I thought it was one of the best I ever experienced. I actually didn't mind the QTE's, because you actually had to fight an opponent before getting to the QTE stage of the battle.

I give RYSE an 8/10. Gameplay wasn't the greatest but you can't really expect anything more from a Roman gladiator, the boss fights were too predictable once you learned what to do. The story was great, and the graphics were some of the best between all
of the launch games for each console. Possibly a 10 from me had the boss fights been more challenging.

I occasionally play Forza 5. I give it a 6/10. It's a racing sim, but I don't think it does anything better than the last one in the series. Drivatar is cool, but once you realize every drivatar hits you at the beginning, it has to get on your nerves.

The only game I really play anymore is BF4. I give it a 7/10, because it still feels unfinished, but it's just so addicting.

I have Deadrising 3, I just can't get hooked into playing it. I think i'm close to finishing it. Won't give it a score because I really haven't played it enough.

Madden 25 - 4/10. EA and Tiburon run the football show. Nothing ever changes, the gameplay is still bad because the AI is magic. I keep buying it because I love football, but nothing ever changes.

Assassin's Creed 4 - 8/10, it was fun, although I think the story was bad and it didn't really feel like an AC game.

 

Mate, good input and the GT. Ryse, I found the story to be ok it's just that even with Marius fleshed out in such amazing graphics, the story seemed to be a bit robotic to me. I am going to join a mate in the UK for some co-op/MP. How do you format spacing
in the new forum?? BF4 - I haven't finished the campaign but the online is a blast, I agree with your opinion on this one %100.

Assasins Creed 4 - Again I agree with you on this one. Reality is that I miss desmond and the gang, I thought their Scooby Doo type exploits only added to the quality of the AC series. I finished this one last week, it's a worthy title now it's cheaper.

Just finished Dead Rising 3. Really surprised at how good it was. I hate zombies and hated Dead Rising 1 and 2 because of how clunky they were and the awful time limit, but DR3 really fixed a lot of that and it was just an absolute blast. Going to try to
work on some of the unlockables and then work on Ryse again.

 

Finished Ryse last week, finished Battlefield 4 a couple of weeks ago, finished Peggle 3 a few months ago, & am currently working my way through Dead Rising 3 as well as Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag. I also play Forza Motorsport 5 & Killer Instinct from
time to time.

They are ALL great games.

 

Currently working on the Thunder vs Sadira match up in Killer Instinct. I'm learning some really cool tech to use against her. I always thought chasing her with him was annoying but his sammamish stops a lot of her air shenanigans with minimal risk since
it leaves him airborne. I've also learned his instinct makes this match up considerable easier to deal with. Activating instinct on reaction to her high altitude air webs, dashing through them and punishing her with Shadow Call Of The Earth brings the hype
and the salt.

Finally been able to delve into some Dead Rising 3 now that I have my own X1 and I'm loving the game far more than I originally thought I would.

I play Strider from time to time when I don't have much time to devote to gaming. Seriously fun game for just $15.

 

I've had Ryse since day one, but haven't found the motivation to finally finish the campaign. I love the multiplayer though. Been playing that a little bit. Graphics are phenomenal! 7/10

I got Ghosts on day one, Beat the Campaign, and haven't played it since. I can't stand the MP. it's awful. Extinction can be really fun if you play with people who don't screw you over, which i constantly see. 5/10

I have NBA2k14 and Madden 25, but they're the same thing to me every year, i just need some sort of sports game. 7/10 for both. I wish they'd bring NHL '14 to the XBONE.

Lego Marvel is fun. I'm enjoying it immensely. Just to see the massive amount of playable characters you can get, just makes it more fun! 8/10

BF4 is what i play 90% of the time. Haven't played much of the campaign but the MP is f'n awesome! i was always a COD guy and never played BF3 or anyother BFs for that matter. Then my friend convinced me to get BF4 on launch. Not mad at all. Once the bugs
all get straightened out, i'll give it a 9/10!

 

I am just slamming down some Lego skulls in Marvel. I have completed the campaign but my fave part with any Lego is what comes after. It's one of the only games I enjoy playing to get the extras. There's something addictive about watching all your studs
get multiplied by 1000 something lol.

 

Just beat dead space 2 last week and 2 weeks ago I beat batman arkham origins.

Right now I'm on assassin creed 4, bioshock 2, toy soldiers, I am probably gonna buy cold cold heart dlc for batman ao, and I'm gonna buy dead space 3.

 

I have cleared Dead Rising 3, Ryse, AC4. Right now most of the time I am on I play BF4 with friends online and the odd games of Fifa. The whole campaign not saving thing is stopping me from completing the BF4 campaign.

 

3rd season in NBA2K ,,not a huge Basketball fan in general but something about this game and my player mode is really addicting ..

Madden25 ,BF4 here and there,LOVE Ryse but still haven't finished it ..4 kids kinda puts a damper on my playing time..My kids love lego marvel..

Once titanfall drops thats gonna be the go to game for awhile

 

Stick with those Bioshock games, they're all phenomenal. Personally I'm hoping to see a true 3rd games to the original Rapture setting on Xbox One. How likely that is I don't know but they are truly original FPS games and actually I quite liked the Bioshock
2 multiplayer too.

Right now, I'm not really playing my Xbox One much. I'm just sat here eagerly awaiting Titanfall with the odd dash of Forza. I just picked up an N64 too so that's a pretty fun time killer when I have an hour or two.

 

Nothing at the moment, seem to have lost my gaming mojo. It comes back now and again, but it's not how it used to be sadly.
