    I liked COD 4's maps the best. Three main routes. Nothing over complicated.

    Spawns are always going to be bad on small maps. They can always tweak them, but I don't believe they will ever be perfect in a game like COD.

    Yeah, size is a huge driver for the spawns.

    cod 3 you had a few seconds after spawn you could kill but immune to damage. You might not like it but it kept people from cheesy spawn kills.

    CoD 3 was underrated IMO. It also had "vote to kick" which I thought was an excellent feature but I seem to be in the minority with that.

    cod 3 was cool, jeeps, motorcycles and tanks. nothing like dropping a grenade down the hatch of a tank. the best balanced multiplayer imo

    COD3 was a wash for me....bought it and sold it within a week...back to COD2 it was...split screen local play for me and my friends

    cod 3 was fun on multiplayer getting into tanks etc, whats stopped me from buying another cod is the stupid lag comp thing, i only play mp and its too frustrating to enjoy, im not a tryhard like i used to be but whats the point if your getting killed all
    the time and its not your fault, its a game killer..heard ghosts was gonna have dedicated servers but that hasnt happened, was that another lie or is this game going to have dedis

    Generally speaking, Call of Duty receives unnecessary hate. It has a great formula that doesn't need a drastic change. People don't want a 'new' cod, they want a new IP. If anything, a drastic change is what will ruin COD. Which brings me to my main
    worry with the upcoming COD.

    They are heading in the direction of the competition that they crushed years ago. Jet packs? People don't play COD to halo hop. COD became a hit because it was a 'realistic' shooter.

    This is the first COD that I will not be pre-ordering the DLC.

    I agree. My biggest issue with the CoD franchise has always been the spawns which, to a degree, are driven by map design. I prefer a "football field" type map type design where one team comes from one direction and the other team from another. Nothing
    makes me rage like killing somebody and then getting shot in the back by them.
