What are the plans from Microsoft Xbox for the Kinect?

Hi guys, Omega here.

I bought few days ago a Kinect, and I realized that Kinect project was discontinued to my sadness.

I guess the Kinect amazing, you can exercise your body and in the same time play a vídeo game,
by the way Kinect is so fun.

And this made started questioning what reasons took Microsoft Xbox to discontinue the Kinect project?

The Microsoft Xbox will continue to produce games for Kinect owners?

As an entrepreneur with years creating new things to the market I could see a lot of possibilities for this device.
As a developer I want to create my own game for the Kinect, it is possible? What the first steps? Is possible Xbox launch this project?

I do not know if you have the same questions as me. However, I would love to know if the Xbox will keep the Kinect owners happy.

Kinect is dead already you can plug 3rd party webacams on your xbox one consoles from a while back to use them on live stream apps...

The kinect for Xbox one has been discontinued and will not probably ever be produced again. This goes for the adapter for Xbox one S and X as well.

If I had to guess, it would be due to sales problems regarding bundles with the kinect and the kinect not selling as much as they wanted.

What are the plans from Microsoft Xbox for the Kinect?
