What are some must own games for the original xbox?

The only one I currently have is Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, and I play it from time to time. A true stealth game. Running headfirst into anything will get you killed or close to it, but it's probably due to horrible combat controls.

 

Bloodrayne 1 & 2 came in the mail today! So excited to get into them!

I'm also looking at KOTOR and both Odd World games on ebay and then I might stop buying original Xbox games for a while, haha.

Hopefully if no one bids on it I'll get it for a sweet $10 which includes postage. I had to pay $15 in store for KOTOR 2 so I'd be happy with $10.

Have to agree with that one They both work reasonably well on the 360, with the first having one easily-fixable issue and they're both fantastic.

I paid $40 NZD for mine about two years ago, possibly a year and a half ago. I had had it previously but I lent the disk to someone and it came back destroyed. Have to tell you I was and am fine with paying that amount as there isn't anything quite like
it on the 360. I can always go back and play it now.

 

I know it's like what? 2 months later? Nevermind, I want to contribute a little bit, a still have my original XBOX and I still use it... a lot, a lot more than my XBOX 360 that I use practically for movies, even when I have like 60 titles between discs and
Digitals , I have like 60 title too for my original XBOX, and I haven't finished them all, when I think I'm trough I found some nice game that keeps me away from my 360, but that's OK, I'm happy with my original XBOX and I wouldn' trade it for anything, my
favorite titles so far are:

Call Of Cthulhu: Dark Corners Of The Earth. (One of the finest, based on the works of H.P. Lovecraft, a really underground gothic horror title)

Max Payne (The Best!)

Max Payne 2 (The Sequel to the Best )

Halo: Combat Evolved (My favorite of the franchise)

Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller (I spend too much quarters on the arcade machines, before I bought this one, It has The Offspring!)

Blood Omen 2 (A Finest sequel to one of the greatest horror franchise in videogames)

Bloodrayne 2 (Better than the original, with a tight story, cool)

Legacy Of Kain: Defiance (A polished conclusion to Kain's Saga)

Serious Sam (Way Better than Duke Nukem, the first encounter has some unforgettable parts)

Serious Sam 2 (Beautiful graphics in this nice sequel, too much cartoony but enjoyable)

SSX3 (Just.. Wow, the highest entry in Snowboard in any platform, period.)

SSX On Tour (I Loved this title... a lot, the best next thing after SSX3)

Manhunt (Snuff Films, turned into Stealth gory mode game, truly twisted)

Stubbs The Zombie In Rebel Without A Pulse (You are the zombie, you control the hordes, very entertainment)

Tony Hawk's American Wasteland (My favorite after THPS, cool story, punk! punk! punk!)

Tony Hawk's Underground 2 (Could script too, really adictive)

XIII (Based on a famous European comic, with comic book panels, and smooth graphics, and an awesome story)

Evil Dead: Regeneration (This was the closest to a sequel with Ash that I could dream before a Remake of Evil Dead)

DOOM III (Really creepy, it's a hell of a game... literally)

Buffy The Vampire Slayer (Better than the sequel, with more cameos, and a nice interface)

Crash: Twinsanity (Great soundtrack, and complex levels that put skills to test at every moment)

The Simpsons: Hit And Run (Tons and tons of references to the old and classic simpsons, when the show was really funny)

Silent hill 2 is one of the better xb games i've played, project zero is worth a go as well.

I have both the Matrix games, never got around to playing them yet but both were .99 a couple years ago so you might be able to find them cheap. Agree about Buffy too. The other game I liked was Voodoo Vince. I haven't used my original xbox in quite a while
but I kept the few games I thought I might want to play again someday. I do know that gamestop still has some original xbox games on their site, you might want to also check gohastings.com. I haven't bought games from them but I used to buy a lot of blu rays
from them. They have some good deals occasionally.
