    What apps


    I just got a One though I was quite content with my 360. I tried to change my avatar and found only stupid-looking backgrounds and dorky poses. Not making me happy. Then I went looking for my apps, didn't see them and realized, well of course I have to reload
    them. Of the 6 or 8 I really want there were 2 available. 2! Why did I get a One if I have to turn it off and go back to the 360 if I want to catch up on Crunchroll, or watch something on Funimation for example. That really makes me unhappy.

    Does anyone have a clue when the "entertainment center" One will have the same apps as the 360? This box has been out long enough to have done that. I guess I'll just move the ethernet back to the 360 and put a plant on this useless brick. Someone tell me
    I'm over-reacting?

    PBS Apps -- What happened?!?

    Very quick, very simple questions:

    1) Where the hell's my PBS App for the Xbox 360?

    2) Why was it taken away from us?

    3) When is it coming back?

    4) And when are we getting a REAL PBS App for the Xbox One, instead of that PBS Kids thing?!?

    X1 apps suck!!! what gives??

    So it appears the ESPN, FOX NOW, CW, FX apps al;l require you to have a certain account with a provider.

    I have DIRECT TV. And it appears since I do not have something like DISH or other 2nd rate cable providers I do not get to use any of these Apps. Kind of sucks!!!!

    Ok a little more testing, signing out of my account on all devices and changing the password, it looks to be the Game itself asking for these permissions, presumably for stat tracking and achievements.

    As you say, they are 0 point achievements and are purely to have people use them and explore the options they offer in the app.

    It's a shame, as it was a great way to watch PBS episodes - particularly Secrets of the Dead - on a tv rather than a computer monitor. PBS hasn't responded to my emails requesting updated info, and Microsoft just says to watch the app to see when it becomes
    functional again.
