    What and where is this second memory unit located?


    I recently purchased my 360 slim 250gb and looked into the storage, i find 3 options 1. Hard Drive -250gb free 2. Memory Unit#1 -3.2gb free and 3. Cloud Saved Games -512mb free.

    I have never seen this "Memory Unit#1" before unless it was an external thumb drive plugged in via usb drive. i have checked all slots with no luck on finding something, could someone explain what this is?

    Hi, I see you already formatted your memory unit, does the memory unit show as unformatted again after you restart the Xbox ? I have seen this error code in cases where the memory unit has simply failed in the 4GB Xbox console.

    Refurbed 360 was cleared

    Ok so I did go through and delete everything manually from my 360's "Memory Unit" (still have no idea what that is) and the gamertag is gone and so far nothing is missing from my games or is any updates missing (I also removed my hd and memory cards as precautions).
    Anyone have any ideas on this memory unit thing?

    Sounds like you've bought a 4gb console that has a hard drive attached.

    The memory unit with 3.2gb free would be the internal 4 gb memory.

    why is the dlc not available to everyone yet?

    If I change my xbox location to the United states I can find the DLC no problem what sop ever, just can't purchase it as it says unavailable. As soon I change my console location back to United Kingdom it is no where to be found in the store.

    Update failed

    I'm taking a stab that you have the slim xbox, the sync button is located right next to the little flap on the front of the console where the usb ports are hidden. It's just slightly to the left of the flap. If you don't have the slim console then the sync
    button will be next to the memory unit b slot.

    Sorry for the issue with memory unit. Have you tried another memory unit to see if it is able to be read in the 360? Also you could try to take the memory unit to Gamestop where you bought and see if they can help you clear it. As for the console if its
    the internal memory that wont update could be a mechanical issue with the internal hard drive. Try these out and let us know how it goes.
