    What an Awful First Experience


    I finally picked this up two days ago. After downloading the 476MB patch, I was finally able to start playing. Couldn't wait!

    I have never in all my time gaming on the XBox360 had a worse experience than this. I couldn't connect to any games at all for 40 minutes. After that I eventually managed to join about 6 games, before getting kicked by the server almost immediately.

    I am not interested in setting up port forwarding or any of that nonsense. I don't need to do it for any of my other games on the 360 and I'm not going to start now. I'm a console gamer. The days of me setting up boot disks to get DOS games working are 20
    years in the past.

    This is an online only game. I can't join any online games.

    If I could, I'd return the game as faulty. It doesn't do what it should.

    I don't get much spare time. This game has cost me 70 minutes I'll never get back and left me with just 25g because I can only complete the training.

    I've been burned here. Got the game and the season pass. What a fool. It won't even let me download the pass content from the in-game menu.

    Maybe I've jumped the gun and everything will be fine next time I play. But as a first time experience, this game is as much fun as a Titan falling face first in the dirt before the pilot has to shoot it in the head to get out.

    Awful Customer Experience

    Real good customer service Xbox. Your new expensive XB1X is a paper weight for me with a hardware issue. When I went to start the warranty process I was given the option to bring it in to the Microsoft store for repair. Cool, I can get it repaired today
    instead of waiting to ship it out and then for it to return. How wrong I was!! 40 minutes drive, wasted gas, and sitting in this store for over an hour to get this thing shipped out because “you don’t have any repaired units in stock.” ****. That is not
    how you treat your customers!!! Open a box to a new one and swap that one if no repair units are in stock. If this unit wasn’t under warranty I could understand. But it is! Thank you @XBoX for wasting 3 hours of my night and gas to get here!!

    Awful Customer Experience

    I'm sorry this happened. It's always best to call the store ahead of time to be sure they can assist with your problem before heading there. You can still set up a repair online and ship the console out. It's not the fastest method
    but if the console is under warranty you don't have to pay for it.

    If you want to try and get your money back, you can always contact EA through their support site. I wish you luck, though. I contacted them a while ago because two DLCs from them were not working at all, and I ended up with squat (they are for the Kingdoms
    of Amalur game. The Digital version has a horrible time loading any of the item packs you may buy, so I tried to get my money back for the item pack and the Online Pass I bought, after the guy I spoke to had me download various versions of the Online Pass.
    He said I would have to wait for an expert to contact me through my email to help resolve it, which was fine, I had an issue with my Dragon Age games and a guy from that fixed it. It's over two months, and still no email, and I check my mail daily. Perhaps
    I should try again soon. That extra $13 or so could be used to buy some of the games on sale now).

    Also, it's EA. But I think that, since you bought it fairly recently, you have a chance to get your money back.

    I just bought TF deluxe.. so a lot of downloads, then the tutorial before finally getting to play....

    and in the game i keep seeing server errors which means i keep getting killed.

    not one single "server" issue, and i came second in my second match...

    far better multiplayer than halo

    I don't see how they can fix it, other then add in in real player and not AI bots.

    It was a sort lived game, the clue was it wasn't out 6months and it was on sale for $15, then they gave away the season pass for free, still hasn't boosted the player base.

    I don't see how they can fix it, other then add in in real player and not AI bots.

    The first one was great aside from the awful multiplayer. They should really focus on a great singleplayer experience as shooters seem to lack variety in multiplayer.
