What about mods?

Most multiplayer games can't actually be modded unless it's their player rank or a rapid fire controller. Yes I agree that modding happens, but it's mainly done on offline modes.

I remember once playing infection in Reach, and there was a party of players who all had the service tag 'MLG'. Everytime one of them would die, they would claim the person who killed them was a hacker. I just felt like sharing that story...

most cheating is confined to few games.

borderlands 1 (not sure about 2)

old COD games, and GTA are all broken with cheaters. thankfully borderlands you can play alone as with GTA, but the multiplayer in these games are all broken with cheaters.

Yeah I spent quite a bit of time messing with the co-op, it's pretty annoying. I know it was intentional and I understand why though. That being said I did get my friend in my game for some of that time in the forest. We stomped most of the people we fought
but sometimes you get out skilled. That's one of the things that makes it great.
