    The only mistake I've made here was deciding to buy this for my Xbox One and not my PS4.. Two days and the furthest I've got is this..

    So i'm going to eat some supper, then get onto chat and demand my money back, this is obviously not fit for purpose, then onto the Playstation store and download it from there.

    please ...its too much ...ive never laughed so much ...ive almost kicked my xbox all the way down the street

    actioning 2 prepaid xbox live cards last year at once as i knew i probably wouldnt be in the country come august (accepted and i dismissed these from thought)

    got a email saying my account was due to expire august ....aha...not me ive already sorted that

    doubt sets in .... i ring .... i almost (nearly) get called a idiot from a customer service guy ....so much so i actually ask....HAVE YOU JUST CALLED ME A IDIOT?

    i set the ball in motion ...an investigation ....waits for sherlock holmes....

    i receive a email no problem all sorted .... one will expire one will start no dramas im alive n kicking

    i doubt this

    i double check

    i receive a email I PROMISE THIS WILL HAPPEN from customer service

    i receive a email I PROMISE THIS WILL HAPPEN 103% from customer service

    heres the thing.... i was a gold member

    now im a silver member

    yes as you have guessed its cancelled ....expired...defunct....

    go on microsoft xbox customer support or technical team .....no no seriously i appreciate your promises and 103% i think you can actually stick it to be be perfectly honest.

    arggghhhhhhhhh (any one else yelled in sheer frustration of such a nameless faceless organisation)

    They wont give you a refund. I already tried last night.

    I tried for an hour last night to get a refund via chat because I couldn't get my XBOX One copy. They never gave it to me. This is false advertising and they can get in trouble and fined for this. It's funny how I can purchase it again on the One, that
    works of course. Anyhow, file a online complaint at the FTC and BBB. It's a very simple process and only takes a few minutes.

    I have been a Live member for 8 years and spend thousands of dollars on XBOX services and goods a year, they want to loose me over $59..? Fine by me, here I come SONY.

  5. Fellas "No Refunds" is not true. I would love to see how some of you conduct yourselves when talking to some of the Customer Service reps? Have any of you asked to speak with a Supervisor or higher up?

    To say Microsoft doesn't give refunds is totally false. I should know because they went above and beyond in assisting me in this matter.

    I was on chat last night for 1 hour and spoke with a supervisor. They would simply not give me a refund. This is why I opened complaints with both FTC and BBB. I will get my money back and they will loose my business.

    @ rflagg & tek I'm sorry it didn't work out in your favor but for me I was more than satisfied with the outcome.

    The CSR and Supervisor were exceptional in handling this issue for me. I told them what I thought the outcome should be and they worked with me to try and come to an agreeable resolution.

    Good luck going forward but going outside of Microsoft may be the way to go for you/some but I would be shocked if it's not handled in house

  10. tek I would call again. I don't want to go into detail what they did for me but it was pretty amazing. I am just as ticked as the next guy because this is insane what has happened. But I gotta give props where it is due.

    I was refunded but only because I didn't realize that if I bought the 360 version first I got the upgrade.

    ...so here I am without the Xbox One version -- but I do have the 360 version so not all is lost I guess.

    Got a refund on a copy of Mordor that didn't work only last week, what I've paid for isn't fit for purpose, simple as.
