    Ever since the June 3rd update, whenever I turn on the xbox to watch tv I get the "We've lost yor tv signal" message. I then have to hold

    down the power button and restart. Contacted MS and also re-loaded software from USB. Everything has been perfect for the last 7 months.

    Hdmi cables are fine. Anyone else having this issue?

    No TV Through Charter Cable/Motorola box

    I just set up my xbox tv and have the HDMI cable plugged in fully to both the xbox and the cable box. The screen, however, keeps switching from a freezed frame of the last thing that was on my tv to saying "We've lost your TV signal!" I have a Samsung
    TV, Charter Cable, and a Motorola cable box. Funny, the Power Off test to the cable box works but still constantly states "we've lost your tv signal". Very frustrating, I feel it's the hdmi port on Xbox One.

    Problem: Connecting to TV using Bose sound system.

    Me:

    I am using a Bose sound system console with my Xbox One system. Xbox works but can't use TV with Xbox. Msg: "We've lost your TV Signal' Have tried all combinations of connecting the HDMI cables. Suggestions?

    I've been seeing it more often but if I wait a few it usually comes in, especially if I pull the guide up or something with the cable remote. There's something wrong with that ports programming completely.

    After updates, my TV signal is delayed but if I wait a minute or so it detects the signal and it's fine from there. Otherwise my system runs perfect.

    Mine was working fine until couple days ago and now I can't watch TV on Xbox anymore. Have tried every solution on these forums nothing has worked. This is frustrating since I just gave these guys $500.

    I have used tv since launch. Since the update my tv has been skipping and jittery. Also showing pixelation. We've lost your tv signal :( I really hope it's just a software problem.

  9. Micro23: Please clarify. Is the XBox User Interface jittery, or is it just the content coming from the set-top box jittery?

    I did a full rest…holding the power button for 8 seconds then unplugging the brick for 30 seconds.

    Everything works great again.

  11. I also get nothing but the "We have lost your TV signal" notification whenever I try to turn on the TV. I have searched these forums and tried every solution offered. No help, still no TV. This has been going on several days now and should have been fixed.
    One of the reasons I switched to xbox one from 360 was the all-in-one aspect . If I have to hook up my TV separately I might as well have kept my 360.

  12. I keep getting the same 'lost signal' message every other day or so. Very frustrating as you are forced to reboot the Xbox to fix.

    If I can't fix this I'll be disconnecting my TV from my system. Been dealing with this for the past 2 months.. sick of it. NOTHING works. I've tried all the fixes, even reached out to support.. no response. Worked fine for my first 9 months of ownership.
    Talked about it to all my friends how great it was.... Microsoft's footprint is showing its ugly side with "issues". Urgghhhh

    Just to note that my #1 no longer seems to work. #2 still does but is mighty inconvenient when your DVR happens to be recording and you can turn it off. What a frustrating device this has been.

    This has been happening to me too for quite some time. Being able to run my cable box through my xb1 was convenient due to having a sound bar with an optical output and my tv not supporting optical. Running it through the xb1 it sounds great...when it's
    working...which lately has proven to be very rare. Did you guys ever get it fixed? I've seen others complain about the same issue with no fixes.

    well, i'm unplugging my cable box from my xbox one, since it never works anymore. when i got my xbox one, live tv worked most of the time and, if it didn't, it was easily resolved. now, through the last few updates, live tv works 5% of the time if i'm
    lucky, with no way to resolve the error when it occurs. so the update effectively took away functionality from my xbox one, and i'm now unplugging something that's supposed to be a core feature of the system over PS4. way to go xbox/microsoft. cheers all

    I've been encountering this error for almost 12 months. It's gotten to the point where my 2 year old now knows the phrase "tv broken" when we get the error. Nice. I even sent my x1 back into microsoft for "repairs" though I have no idea what they actually
    tested and/or fixed. When I got it back, it still had the problem. I'm also a comcast subscriber.

    There are two things I now do that seem to resolve it in the shortest amount of time: 1) quit the tv app and start it again (i.e. hit xbox button, press the little button with 3 lines with the tv app selected , and quit); 2) quit the tv app, power off my
    cable box (motorola in this case), power the cable box back on, restart the tv app.

    #1 can take 5-10 times to work. When #1 really doesn't seem to be happening, I revert to #2 which seems to work decently regularly. In fact, #2 seems to work so much better that I've now started with #2 as a matter of course when I hit this error.

    I totally feel your frustration.
