We've lost your TV signal - November update

I have my xbox one set to boot to tv. Since the new experience update this has not worked. If my xbox is off for more than 5 minutes I just get the "we've lost your TV signal" every singal time. I have to reboot my cable box to watch TV. I have a Comcast
x1 box and onkyo receiver. I have never had an issue with this setup before the new update. This is beginning to get really annoying. Any potential fixes? I changed the setting from "auto detect" to "hdmi" that hasn't helped either.

No TV Through Charter Cable/Motorola box

I just set up my xbox tv and have the HDMI cable plugged in fully to both the xbox and the cable box. The screen, however, keeps switching from a freezed frame of the last thing that was on my tv to saying "We've lost your TV signal!" I have a Samsung
TV, Charter Cable, and a Motorola cable box. Funny, the Power Off test to the cable box works but still constantly states "we've lost your tv signal". Very frustrating, I feel it's the hdmi port on Xbox One.

 

Problem: Connecting to TV using Bose sound system.

I am using a Bose sound system console with my Xbox One system. Xbox works but can't use TV with Xbox. Msg: "We've lost your TV Signal' Have tried all combinations of connecting the HDMI cables. Suggestions?

 

I have been reporting this issue and many others in the beta releases as soon as it happened. There is no fix for it yet.

The only work around for this bug and all the other TV bugs is to completely give up on using the Xbox for TV.

 

Just adding my name to this problem as well. It actually seems to have got worse since general release of nxoe.

 

It's too bad about the update. I like the new interface, I just want everything to work like it's supposed too. Especially frustrating given how well everything worked before the update. Hopefully Microsoft will have a fix soon.

The only solution I've found (which isn't really acceptable to me but better than kicking my tv screen in) is to unplug the cable box power and let it reboot. Restarting xbox or the quitting the live tv app do nothing. This used to happen back during one
of the early xbox updates and eventually fixed itself. i hope they fix this asap. to me, its a pain to have to get up and unplug the cable box after i just sat down to relax and power everything up.

 

it isn't listed on the known issues with new xbox one experience webpage... how do we get microsoft to acknowledge the issue so it gets fixed? I'm in a chat right now trying to find out, but this person only seems to want to help me troubleshoot the issue,
which i know they won't be able to

Good luck everyone, I've been complaining and reporting this problem for over a month with no resolve.

 

Update on my issue. I went to the local Microsoft store, and exchange my TV Tuner for a new one. Not sure how or why, but this fixed my issue I had from last week. Very odd.

 

I've noticed in the past week this hasn't been as big of an issue for me. I changed my xbox to not boot to tv. This seems to have helped. If the xbox has been off for a while and I say "watch tv" it sit takes the sound and picture a minute or two to come
in but it works. This only happens to me on start up too. If I switch from a game to tv it's not a problem

 

I have the exact same problem since the update.... very annoying!!!!

The quickest fix I have found is to unplug the HDMI-IN lead and plug it back in again. A bit of a hassle because of how the box is connected in the TV cabinet, but it saves not having to reboot the console!
