Western digital HDD

Discus and support Western digital HDD in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I purchased a new western digital 1 TB 3.0 usb passport drive and the xbox comes up with an error saying drive must be an 3.0 or later usb and 256 GB...     I purchased a new western digital 1 TB 3.0 usb passport drive and the xbox comes up with an error saying drive must be an 3.0 or later usb and 256 GB drive.

    Halo 4 Install on 360 question

    Disc 2 is installed to the Internal HDD which is a Microsoft 500gb. Disc 1 is installed to the External HDD which is a Western Digital 2TB.

    Best External 2tb hard drive?

    Stay away from the Seagate brand. They're cheap and your drive will fail within 5 years (and have the highest failure rate of any HDD). Western Digital is more expensive, but will last you much, much longer than any Seagate ever will. So, Western Digital
    passport drives are fantastic.

    Hello Sunny,

    If you remember on the Xbox 360, you were able to format a Flash Drive to convert it to an additional 360 Storage unit. There were several different kinds of Flash Drives out there (some 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0) there still had compatibility issues with the console.
    This very well may be the case.

    The 250Gb is the minimum size try a reboot then plug your HDD back in

    Just been checking preview forum it seems that most issues like you are having was the usb cable so try another usb3 cable hope that works for you

    I use the Western Digital Elements SE 2TB! A classic IDE HDD but there are also various SSD HDD which are also faster than the interen hdd of the console.
