Western digital easystore external drive stopped working after nov2020 update.

Last night I played until around 9pm. Xbox got turned off and I went to sleep. This morning I turned xbox on to find that my external isn't being seen by the Xbox. I went through every troubleshooting step. During this process I found that xbox was updated
at 9:18pm last night. That is the only thing I can come up with. Anyone else having this problem or have any suggestions for me?
