    We’re updating Xbox. It should be ready to use again shortly.


    I am unable to open the xbox app on my computer as it crashes as soon as I try to open it. And now i am unable to play any of my Xbox Game pass Games as it says that I need to sign in to a profile.

    How do I fix this issue?

    I would strongly suggest trying the troubleshooting steps below:

    1. Open the Windows Store on your PC and click on the three horizontal dots in the top right corner.
    2. Here, click on Downloads and updates.
    3. On the next page that opens, click on the Get updates option.
    If the issue persists, Try to reset the Xbox app to solve the problem:

    1. Press Win + I to open Windows Setting.
    2. Select the Apps category. Make sure Apps & features are selected in the left pane. In the right pane, input Xbox in the search box.
    3. In the following window, select the Repair button. Then check if the Xbox works properly.
    4. If you still encounter the problem Xbox app not opening or working properly, you need to click the Reset button.
    If the issue persists, try to use the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter built into the Settings app:

    1. Open the Settings app (keyboard shortcut Win + I) on your PC.
    2. Go to the Update & Security section.
    3. From the left pane, click on Troubleshoot to get a list of all the available troubleshooters.
    4. Here, locate and click on the Windows Store Apps option.
    5. Click on the Run the troubleshooter button that is revealed to start the troubleshooting process.

    Xbox accessories app keeps crashing,

    Somehow, shortly after the error and replying, the windows prompted that it is ready for the update and it successfully updated to version 1809(Os Build 17763.292), however, after following the instructions once again, the problem didn't disappear.
