went from a temporary suspension to a lifetime ban?

On October 26th you gave me a temporary suspension but I was never home. Then today October 28th, im playing sunset overdrive's single player and tried playing chaos squad but it said im banned. I check my email and it gives me a link to the enforcement
page, and I find out im banned for life for trash talking. This seems too harsh of a punishment just for trash talking.This happened about a week or two before today and those people trash talked as well. I wasn't threatening anyone or doing anything illegal
so why was this enforced? I never had this problem on the 360. I hope you guys take away the lifetime ban. Its wrong you ban me but still charge for the gold membership. I've been a gold member since 2006 but my first account was hacked and you guys did nothing
to help and I don't want to make a third account. Please take away the ban and just give me the suspension. I learned my lesson but trashing talking is a part of gaming for some gamers and this kind of takes away some of the fun.

Too bad your suspensions weren't lifetime suspension.

Best choice is not to buy a Xbox one and create or write threads/posts,like you're use to.Thanks.

Xbox Banned

Using a secondary account to avoid a suspension on your main account is against the code of conduct.

Sounds like you've been issued a temporary console privilege suspension to prevent you from doing this.

Multiple infractions can cause you to be permanently banned. So if you've had multiple suspensions in the past, that could cause a banning.

Either way, you'd need to post here for an official answer from the enforcement team -

this was the first time it happened. they suspended me then two days later banned me and I hadn't communicated with anyone during that time so I don't get what the problem is

The ban would be from something that happened months ago.

Bans are not overturned.

If it's a temporary suspension, you'll have to wait until the suspension is over. If it's a permanent ban, then that won't be possible. There is no way to sign into a banned account.

Depending on how often or how serious a person violated the Code of Conduct and misbehaved on Xbox Live, the Enforcement team will issue suspensions as "punishment" for these violations.

For "minor" violations like cursing or harassing other people, you might get communications suspensions for days or weeks, and for more serious violations like cheating or repeated "minor" violations, the suspension time increases.

If the person did something so serious, like modifying a console or using modified consoles to cheat, or try to get stuff from the marketplace illegitimately, that account will be "permanently banned".

Since the way the suspension/banning system works, the suspension has to have an "end date".

And by setting the end date of the suspension to December 31 in the year 9999, this simply means you won't be able to use that account again in your lifetime (or the lifetime of your kids, or maybe the lifetime of the Xbox Live service, because the alien
robot overlords destroy our solar system in the year 8645.)
