How much (ahem) stick can I give my drums?

OK, so I'm loving GHWT drums. Always wanted a drum kit and now I've got one. Sort of.

My question is thus, are these designed to be 'hit' or just hit. Now I don't mean abused, but I do give it some welly on some of my more favoured songs, and playing on medium and above involves some serious yellow cymbal bashing.

I don't play for more than a couple hours at a time so they aren't being used all the time, but has anyone had any major probs with them dying just from overuse?

Oh, and how long can I expect the duracells in them to last? If I had one criticism its that they didnt design them to take a play and charge battery, but hey ho.

Not only will I not buy Battlefield Hardline but I won't even rent it now. That game disc will never enter my machine. Conservative political groups are not terrorist factions and I'll not support any company which presents them to be as such. They say "shoot
racists tea partiers"?!?! They mar the intent of the Gadsen flag?!?! They can kiss my ***. ;-) I'm a conservative gun owner who supports the Constitution.

Came here looking for information on this game. Now, I am no liberal for sure. I am however not a conservative. Both those groups are NOT the representation of most Americans. They just dominate the conversation. But then I read this:

"I'm a conservative gun owner..."

Why is there the need to always throw gun owner in there. I know "liberal" people who own guns, hunt, and are easily for gun rights. Owning a gun does not make you some conservative. Also does not make you awesome or powerful or any of that. I own guns
as well. Actually about 12 now. Different calibers for hunting different things and stuff like that. Still, I do not identify with any certain group. Hate to see so many people label themselves like that. I have a sister who is "conservative" and that
is constantly molding her in ways she does not see. And she has called me liberal at times just for not seeing eye to eye with her. Just like some liberal friends call me a conservative for not agreeing with them. Stupid really.

As for this game I am not sure. Really wondering what the fiction will be. How it will play out. Not so sure on this game so far but am hoping the campaign turns out entertaining and of decent length. I am not a huge battlefield player although the MP
on 4 has been fun for what I have played. I have heard a few things from friends though. And it seems the campaign premise may be good entertainment.

I had a run-in with some of those klan guys a few years ago that ended with them threatening my life....sadly, I'm still kicking ha.

when I stated that Klan is spelled with a "c" they got upset, but I admitted to understanding because the KKK sounds scarier than the KKC, because the latter sounds like they should be running a chain of racist chicken stores ....*BOOM* death threats....lol

Well, interest will probably go up in games when something "original" is released. This game will be BF3 reskinned, and even then, probably will still have some problems. Its just Dice tradition!
