Well, I'm in a bit of a pickle

As of this afternoon, I haven't been able to send messages, join parties, or play my multiplayer games online.

At 1st I thought it was a service alert, since those seem to be so common. Upon checking, there was 1, so I decided to wait it out as I always do. Sadly, the alert went away, but my problems did not.

I then checkd the preview forums to see if it had anything to do with my New XB1 Experience update - there were no posts regarding this particular issue or even similar issues.

I then thought maybe I was suspended/banned. However, I have received no XBL messages or emails stating as much, my reputation is still in the green, and a look at the enforcement site shows my profile as still being perfect.

So, if it's not the service alert, the preview program, or an enforcement action, then WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!?

If you have any ideas, I'd like to hear it.

Please by all means use some common sense here and really think hard Giving your account details to somebody else is a NO NO , you can't seriously be this gullible and believe anybody that ask you for your account details can you ?GEEZ

The first quote IS the helpful post. If you choose to disregard it then you accept any and all consequences of your actions.

 

I am pretty sure you already tried this but have you tried doing a hard reset of your console and power cycling all of your network equipment? I have had to hard reboot my system twice today but can still play/chat etc. If that does not work then I would
contact someone from support about this.

Just a thought. My console has been acting screwy for the last couple of hours. I have had to do hard reboots 3x. However, I went to check to see if it needed to update and it did. It is updating now and I will let you know if that fixed it. Check that
as well as it may fix your issues.

 

GG just an update. After the update to the NXE installed all my issues I was having seem to have went away.

 

( I'm not in the preview programme )

But at about 9pm last night ( UK time ) I was having a few issues on LIVE. Seemed slower to download games. Party issues, one minute we could hear one another, next we couldn't.

I checked my broadband, all seemed ok there.

 

Apparently, a hard reset fixed the issue. Go figure... *rolls eyes*

No, I did not post in the preview forums, but I did post in the support forums (prior to the hard reset - I really need to get in the habit of doing that 1st).

As for the preview update, in my search for a solution, I manually downloaded it last night - although I'm still not quite sure what was updated...

 

GG look in the NXE forums there is a post that explains what it fixed.

 

I was just curious to see what kind of pickle...dill, bread and butter, gherkin, garlic, or maybe kosher?

 

I've always preferred dill and/or bread and butter, D33dles. I don't think I've ever had gherkin or garlic before, and although I know I've had kosher, I don't really remember what it tasted like... ;P

You should stop on by and try some of my mother's home-made pickles - they're awesome too!

 

Tis better to be in a pickle then have a pickle in you. especially those big Van Holton ones ..

Well, the issue I was having reared its ugly head again today. Thankfully, I was able to fix it pretty much the same way (by going into settings and choosing to restart the console), but now that it's happened again, it concerns me how much this may happen
from now on. Will it become annoying? I, for 1, certainly hope not.

Also, I'd like to know if anybody else experiences these or similar issues.
