I'm trying to create a New Xbox account. But apon getting to the choose how you look page i've ran into some issues. I will Select my name and one of the PfP that are provided Then I'll hit Lets go; the page will buffer for a second and then just reload right back to the same page. Just this time The name I typed in isn't acceptable. I've tried this with like 10 Different Names (Sorry Xbox). What is going on!!!?

Have you already tried to create it using a different device or internet browser? I actually have seen few users having the same issue.

If it does the same thing, there may be a temporary problem on their end. It would be best to wait and try it again at a later time.

You could also report it through https://support.xbox.com/xbox-live-status > Report a service outage.

My partner has exactly the same problem. We have tried creating an account on xbox, computer, phones - same problem everywhere. I've been trying to contact XBOX support for a few hours now, but so far with no result.

As far as I can see this is a problem present among other players too, there is a post on the XBOX Reddit where people are reporting exactly the same problem.

I assume that the problem lies with Microsoft, but it is difficult to reach any tech support.
